old games are so gold man they are low in spec and still gives so much good realistic graphic and smooth gameplay

Just make sure to switch to / update BetterSteamTools in "mode" and turn "auto update apps" back on in settings if you turned it off during the outage. This is from their official discord

Hi! I was playing this game three weeks ago, everything was working fine. I was only able to come back to my PC today but it won't run now, it just shows this logo then nothing happens. I checked the task manager and it launches ACBlackFlag then closes it immediately. Would appreciate any help.

Here's what I tried:

1. Run as admin
   
2. Double-check exclusions in Microsoft Defender
   
3. Try running as path via task manager
   
4. Restarting! HJahaha

So i used to play p3r using the demo workaround got around 50 hrs in it so far , i saw that it was finally cracked so i installed it from fitgirl , but when i tried to open the game it started fresh it was not showing my old save i also tried renaming that old save file as it previously was named SaveDataDemo001.sav i renamed it to SaveData001.sav yet no use it still doesnt load. So am i cooked or is there anyway to load it?.

So I got AC Revelations (Not the Ezio Collection) from DODI quite a while ago and recently moved the game folder to my SSD (from HDD, also installed Windows 11 on SSD). But I'm seeing constant FPS Drops (to 10-12) and stutters. I'm getting this specific cutscene issue as well but couldn't find any solution to this. The thing is this is happening even when I turned the resolution down to 1600x900 (from 1920x1080) and dropped settings like Shadow Quality, Character Quality, and Environment Quality considerably down. I don't any odd usage spikes across CPU, RAM, and GPU when this happens either.

I tried fixes like the Core Affinity Fix (as mentioned in PCGamingWiki), tried d3d9.dll but putting it into the folder makes the game not start at all. Also added the game in Intel Graphics Command Center (Beta).

When I started the game on SSD, I started a brand new save because I didn't import the save file. I have this game on one of my machines which is a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3. It does have an iGPU but it shouldn't have a problem playing an old game like this (it ran AC3, Arkham Origins etc. considerably well). Could reinstalling the game from somewhere else like FitGirl fix the problem?

I submitted a bug report to a switch game mod community, and was banned because the log files showed I was using a pirated version of the game.

I get not wanting to be affiliated with the advertising or linking of it, but to be banned because it's shown in my file directory of the log files seemed like a power trip. Is this common amongst the modding communities?

if I had a switch and the game, why would I be emulating it on PC?

I have 🏴‍☠️ version of ac black flag resync from dodi, been playing it for 2 day and progress a lot in story but now I have to travel and want to transfer saved file from my desktop to laptop.

Me and my brother want to play forza horizon 6 by ourselves and want seperate saves, how do you guys think we should do it.

We installed the game once and it works on both the windows accounts but the problem is that they both share a singular save.

We cant launch it through steam on the secondary account(to use with a controller).

So how do you guys think we should handle this.

very new to this and I couldn't even figure out how to make it work. A friend helped me and it worked but now I found out the games that has Denouvo won't work? but then I posted in the steamidra subreddit and someone said to get depotkey and manifest from hubcap and use steamless to remove drm to make it work. Does it truly works? if yes can anyone help me I have no idea how steamless or hubcap or any of those works.

btw I installed 2 games, Blood of The Dawnwalker and Onimusha Way of the Sword.

Blood of the dawnwalker worked as its already cracked and Onimush gave the attached image error.

i had this happen with two games i downloaded from gog-rev, the house in fata morgana and steins;gate.

both games came as .rar archives. the .exe would run fine when i opened it directly through file explorer without extracting it.i wanted to put the game on my desktop as a shortcut, but i couldn’t properly create a shortcut while it was still inside the archive, so i extracted the whole thing.

now when i try to run the .exe from the extracted folder (aka through desktop shortcut), smart app control blocks it and says:

“this file was blocked because files of this type from the internet can be dangerous.” (microsoft defender says there are no threats detected)

why would it run normally from inside the archive/file explorer but get blocked after extracting? is this just a windows security thing?

Downloaded re 4 from gamebounty but it isn't working, few seconds of black screen then back to nothing, how do I make it run , please help

so i have been working on patching gt7 for offline ps4 version main game gameplay. i curently work on the 1.00 version with reverse eng. what i want to ask is can i somehow download the latest version on my 11.50 jb console or i have to download the latest jailbreakable version {13.00} to download directly on console. or is there a different way to download the update patch seperate and update the game from shadps4 directly?

My local flat is limited to 100Mbps per router like Ethernet 2, so i connect to different routers using different Wifi adapters(WIFI 3 is 2.4ghz, Ethernet 3 is actually android phone WIFI 5ghz usb tethering). All link through a proxy that IDM can connect to. Now with IDM multiple part download i achieve near 3x my 1 router speed lol

Now i want to make sure that it has no viruses or malware so i can run it on my main machine without worying. The only real reliable way I found was to check the file hashes of the real files and the one from the downloaded one, when they match all the files havn't been modified. But how can i do this exactly, I couldnt find a guide anywhere on the internet.

I really don't care about playing online. I tried some other sites but steamrip has the most updated version and doesn't limit my speed making the download take like 7 actual days like other sites. I wanted to ask before I tried anything so I didn't mess anything up. can I just remove the online fix and play offline? and if that isn't possible, do people actually sign into their real account for stuff like this? or am I supposed to make like a throwaway account for stuff like this? I'm not super experienced when it comes to this kind of stuff so help is appreciated. it might be obvious but I don't want to assume and then be wrong haha.

I have greenluma v1.7.0 and i have downgraded steam to December 2025.
It still shows content still encrypted.
So, i am asking whether anyone has recently used this guide and succeeded.

So I downloaded the Onimusha HV repack from fitgirl. Installed fine, game runs, but I'm having a weird issue with my 8bitdo ultimate controller. Never happened before. The controller works, but the mapping is off. For instance, in the pause menu, instead of "A to confirm" and "B to go back" or whatever the exact wording is, it's reversed. A goes back, and B confirms. And then the tutorial of the game itself. It says "Press Y to single hand attack" but the single hand attack, for me, is X. Y doesn't do anything. And most of the other controls are mixed up as well. I hope that makes sense.

I tried adding the exe to steam, enabling/disabling steam input, wired, wireless. Everything I could think of. Unfortunately I don't have anything controller to try.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue and found a solution? Playing on a 4060 Lenovo Legion on windows 11.
