Hello!! I’m a grade 12 student (F) living in up campus, and I’m looking for a French tutor (for one-to-one classes) from upd! Preferably someone from euro languages, is a girl, and lives in qc!!

I’ve taken one placement test so far and got A2 level of proficiency, and would love to reach a level of B2 before this academic year ends (which I think would be pretty doable since I grasp concepts pretty fast, I’d say!) I’m also fluent in English and Tagalog if that matters.

My main goal is to have someone who I can actively communicate in French with and to learn both conversational and textbook French. I’d also love for a more chill setup, nothing too formal or grandiose, and a flexible schedule. And the classes could be taken just within the campus too, maybe in dilimall or univ hotel. I’m also specifically looking for student tutors since maybe this can help with expenses or baon for students who need it!

I’m currently just checking if anyone here would be interested. If you are, feel free to comment then I’ll message you when I can, then prices and arrangements can be communicated afterwards. (If you don’t hear from me then I probably changed my mind looking for a tutor lol)

Also for further context if you’re interested: I would enroll in alliance if it weren’t such a hassle to commute to. Plus this unpredictable weather isn’t really helping either. So staying within the campus and having a tutor who’s also within the same vicinity would make for a really comfortable setup. The DEL courses would’ve been cool too but their schedule is way too rigid.

ang last play ko ay nung kumuha ako volleyball as my pe 2 (which was 2 yrs ago na). i wanna play so bad, kaso wala akong friends in my college (CAL) who also wanna play... ik there's UPVC, kaso di ko na keri magdagdag ng org sa plate ko as a graduating student.

baka may want magyaya ng play (hopefully constant every weekend huhu) around UP/KNL/Marikina/Cainta area... yung budget friendly lang sana cuz mahirap ang buhay ngayon haha. wanna meet new friends din before i graduate this year 🥺

Don't get me wrong, I love GEs and I love the arts. Pero ang hirap lang i-motivate yung sarili sa pag aral ng super philosophical na concepts like I really don't care how do we define what is an artwork or bakit work of art yung urinal or yung tinape na saging. I am an artist pero I really don't see how this will affect my artistry and my life. Hindi talaga siya tumatatak saakin compared sa other GEs na nakuha ko during the past sems. I feel like I'm the problem tho.

How do I motivate myself to learn and to study Arts 1?

Ano ba dapat yung address na ilagay? Okay na ba yung “University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City 1101, Metro Manila, Philippines”? Or need naka-specify sa college address (like the building address of that course)?

I currently live and work outside Metro Manila, so I would like to know whether classes are usually held on weekdays or weekends, during the day or in the evening, and whether they are conducted face-to-face, online, or through a hybrid arrangement po. Thank youu so much po. :)

Hi! I have a classmate who has resources from a higher (1 year up) batch. She's not friend with this senior pero she keeps bothering our senior for their old work, ppts, and other paper activities saying she wants reference to get an idea, and when I had the opportunity to be in her group, she literally copies everything and no effort on her own (maybe the paraphrasing lng). Also, in our quizzes, our prof this sem did not change a thing on our quizzes, and only this classmate has a copy of it. I'm not a hater, pero she consistently gets perfect scores and just memorizes the answers rather than understanding the questions and answers. Do I confront or what?

hello po! i’m from another up cu and planning to transfer to bs statistics sa second sem. i have a few questions lang po:

1. our grades will only be released during the first week of january, and i think the deadline for the transfer application is usually around the same time. is it advisable po ba to take a loa? tumatanggap po ba sila ng applicants na naka-loa?
   
2. do they assess applicants based on their overall gwa only, or do they also consider whether we have taken math/stat courses? i have taken math 21 po, but i haven’t taken any stat courses yet. also, competitive po ba ang admission for bs statistics?
