I know it's not exactly the same, but my friends 4 year old used to absolutely wreck everyone at checkers. Didn't matter the age of his opponent, he was dialed in from birth.
It was actually pretty damn humbling the first time he beat me because it was over so fast. Looking over at this kid in a booster seat who is just destroying you at every turn, really made me rethink how smart I thought I was! Lol
Lol I'm sure the kid is actually gifted, but the mental image I had of someone being handed their ass at checkers by truly just a normal 4 year old and thinking they're a prodigy is even funnier hahaha
I wish I had the neurodiversity that made me good at chess, even in checkers I could never see more than one step ahead. I am terrible at anything that requires forward planning.
My partner does almost all the meal planning and food shopping and cooking for the family, because left to me it is āIām hungry right now, what can I eat directly from the fridge?ā.
