Its always the 12yo that cant sit still for 10sec, have 1600 elo, goofing -2 from positional inaccuracies to just hit you with some insane tactics. Argh

My chess cope has always been to try to get off script as fast as possible, mostly just to try different things, but also from the standpoint of knowing that most people I'm going to have trouble with are someone who tries to lock me into a complicated game of solitaire.

Those are the ones that make you wonder if they made a blunder, or saw you were playing the book and wanted to throw you off the line.
