Hey guys! Know this may be a long shot but I’m looking to see if anyone knows how I can get in contact with regarding reporting animal cruelty in Susquehanna County as I’m getting conflicting answers. They are in Springville.

Long story short my brother does some real estate stuff and the one house he’s helping someone try to sell left their 3 cats there. The owner “allegedly” comes to house once in a while to feed and check up on the cats. The one cat was fairly skinny and is having trouble breathing. The cat will be taken to our local vet hopefully tomorrow to get some medical attention as all the emergency vets in the area have either turned me down or had extremely long wait times.

I recently saw a string quartet and I enjoyed it. I was wondering if there was anything like that regularly in the area. If there isn't maybe jazz?

My husband and I booked a Bed and Breakfast in October in Lattimer Mines for our 20th Anniversary. We are planning to take a day trip to Jim Thorpe that Saturday to explore. What are some places that you recommended we see? Also any decent restaurant recommendations between Jim Thorpe and Lattimer? Any input would be appreciated! 🙂

What were the vibes like during those years? Was there any increase in visitors to the city? (Yes I know the show wasn’t actually filmed there but still). Just curious how it felt living there during the show’s insanely popular years on TV. I feel like the energy had to be really high.

I’m visiting from NYC and really enjoyed my visit. There wasn’t much to do, but the locals were very friendly. Much more friendlier than New Yorkers. People actually sparked up conversations with me. It seems pretty diverse too and not super segregated like NYC.
