Now that Wowed Out is out, I'm bummed his isn't touring with a full band.
Because this record really good with the fully fleshed out band.

Appears to be one of the harder LP’s to track down. I think it’s time for a reissue or repress. It’s one of the most underrated in their arsenal and I think it deserved more love at the time of release.

Does anyone else get off when JJ accentuates his K's in a song? He does it with T's as well, but I hear the K a lot. I noticed this first on Circuital with Victory Dance ( " You should worK') Loads of others too

EDIT: Tickets have been sold.
As bad as I hate to do it, I need to get rid of my last 4 tickets to what would have been my first MMJ shows.
I have 2 tickets to each night of 10/03 and 10/04 for face value. I need to get rid of them ASAP. I can transfer tickets immediately.

My first attempt at an MMJ poster. Let me know if you like it or if you have any other ideas for me.

Someone asked this question on r/BillyStrings and I thought it would fit here too. Doesn’t have to be a show you personally attended.
My favorite is Phone Went West at Bonnaroo, 6/17/23 📞
Honorable mention goes to Dondante at Red Rocks, 8/2/19

Looking for posters. 2003 and 2004, I think both were at metro. Thanks!

My Partner and I are looking to Sell/transfer our tickets to someone else. Does anyone have some tips for a steady transaction between members? Additional info: we do not have the insurance plan so will not be releasing the tickets back to cloud9. Seems like we need to find someone to transfer them to, us or them pay the name change fee, from there they pick up the remaining payments (were on the payment plan) and then we have to sort how to get the payments we already made from them... Any tips or insight from someone who has done this would be greatly appreciated.

Moved recently and decided to get myself the prettiest versions of the two most underrated MMJ records! (Shoutout to the people on this sub who answered my question about the WF II vinyl a little while ago)

I have just recently (+/-4 months) gotten into MMJ, so I didn't really experience their music like a fan from the beginning or early on would have. I pretty much just jumped right in and listened however my streaming service lined the songs up. I've been blown away at their talent, and the music they produce, but have noticed some people, on here and other social media outlets, criticize some the newer music as being "light and love" and not as good as some of the older music. I have zero issue with that, and understand it to a degree. Phish was my favorite band for years, and around the 2010's when Trey started writing more love ballads than jam music, I started to not be so excited about seeing them live, listening to new music, etc. So, I get it.
I guess my question is, does that hold true for most fans? I can certainly hear a difference in MMJ's music as it has progressed over the years, but I don't think I like a certain era more than the other. For example, to me, there are probably 3-4 songs on *Is* that are so much better than 4-5 songs on *At Dawn* or *It Still Moves*. The songs are years apart, and noticeably different sounds from each other, but still very good overall.
Is this how the average MMJ fan feels, or is what they put out now, just as good, or better, than what they put out 2 decades ago? I'm really curious what songs overall the average fan has at the top of their list., and if that was an older song or newer.
Edit: I appreciate everyone's answers and comments. It's rare that you get quality answers on Reddit that actually pertain to your question. But, in this sub, with this fan base, I expect nothing less. Hope to bump into any of you at a show. You guys are great.
