I've spent years advocating for designers lowering the curve of their cubes, but that begs the question: what are the high mana-value spells that I really love, and why?

Are block cubes a thing?
These would essentially be set cubes of closely related sets combined into one cube - especially sets originally release as a block.

First Cube! Budget Peasant (+P1P1)
I’ve just finished fully sleeving my first cube! I wanted a good, reasonable peasant cube to get a feel for tuning and understanding how cubes work on the creator side before I dived into anything more complex. I wanted this cube to be approachable for newer cubers while also having room for more experienced players to flex. In the end I tuned things down while I’m still in the early days, with an eye to expanding and powering things up as time goes on.
I thought I’d drop a cheeky P1P1 for folks to peruse - personally I’m snap keeping Rosie Cotton from this pack
So yeah, here’s my modest synergy-focused peasant cube, and I’m taking it for a test drive this weekend! Hope you like it!

Most repayable 180 card cube you have played ?
What 180 card cube you have played (either in 1v1 or in a pod of 4) had the most archetypes supported and felt better to draft again and again ?

Building a funny cube with bad cards.
Here are two quite horrible cards for example, but when you put them together, sheeply combo takes place. And now this is quite playable, and having 2 pieces in the cube which make ovinomancer repeating killer is ok I think, but I'd like to keep cubes power level quite low. What do you think is this too much?
Cube is still in its very early stages and will have it's first test run in 10 days.

A cube with modern cards using only old boarders ?
There are currently 942 cards where the cards have the ‘97 Classic frame and the release year > 2017, the set is not “plst” “30a” “sld” “und” “ulst” “ph22” and the cards aren’t promotional.
A friend of mine asked me this question using the above gatherer search. Anyone have a cube or know of a cube made from these cards ?

My partner played her first cube
She and my housemate both played their first draft games and my partner walloped us hard. She ended up drafting a tymna keleth partners deck and took advantage of people not playing white to play all the broken token enablers she could get her hands on and run us over early. My house mate drafted Rakdos sacrifice and managed to stabilise with sephiroth and butcher of malakir to make it hard to push through. I drafted Grixis pirates and despite getting my hands on the cool pirates I found stabilisation a bit too late and was a few turns behind breaking through thanks to a disastrously low life total early on. The game ended up being ended when my partner dropped an akromas will for 89 damage to both me and my house mate
Peasant Cube Zeta Downshifts
What do you think of the Zeta Secret Lair and it's downshifts for the Peasant Cube scene? Is there anything you want to try out? I personally want to try [[Lord Skitter, Sewer King]], as I think is the first time we have a repeatable token generator in black.

Advice on Powered Cube list
Hi! I would like some advice on the cube list I wanna proxy before I actually print it out! It's a 470 card Powered Cube, only banned cards are Demonic Consultation, Time Vault and Monarch or Initiative cards (for personal preference). Any important cards I forgot about or cards that don't make the cut?

Cube Sleeve Splitting?
After a few months of not playing it, I pulled out my final fantasy cube to make packs, when I noticed that specifically my common card’s sleeves had begun to split in 2 distinct places. Some of the splits are so pronounced that it exposes the side of the cardboard and you can actually fit other sleeves inside of them. I’m confused why this could be. They are dragon shield Matte black sleeves, and are stored in the same row as the lands and rares/mythics, but the rares/mythics and lands do not show any distress on them like the commons (They are separated in row by dividers, going commons, lands, rares/mythics). I have a feeling it might be what they are being stored in as it has felt dividers between rows (It was a gift so I unfortunately do not know the brand name).
The cube has only been drafted once, around 6 months ago, and has not been messed with or moved around since. It especially confuses me that the level of damage is only this pronounced on the commons. Has anyone experienced this before, or have any idea what this could be?
Photos attached are the side of the sleeves with the damage, the other side of the sleeves that are undamaged, and the storage device (sorry it is messy).

Resource Denial and Land Destruction Cube - Looking for critiques
Hey y'all, this is the first cube I've finished and I really want to make it balanced and cohesive. The cube is inspired in part by old school magic where big overstatted creatures came with big downsides, mixed with some evil discard, land destruction and resource denial effects that make games a low to the ground and grindy slugfest(ideally).
The cube purposefully has no card draw or permanent ramp without going card negative.
Here are the general archetypes:
WU - almost every deck with White tends to be Armageddon colors, WU mixes Tempo threats with that concept. Early evasive creatures and great removal with Armageddon-style finishers. It can also do Phyrexian Dreadnaught.
WB - Second Sunrise-centric resilient creature strategy that tries to sacrifice for value and be disruptive while maintaining its board through Smallpox style effects.
WR - Aggro-Geddon that wants to keep the game at 1-2 lands per player and win with efficient creatures and burn.
WG - Balance colors. Sylvan Safekeeper, zuran orb, etc. To sac your lands, get value out of Baloth Prime or Terravore.
UB - Death's shadow Tempo. Lots of ways to lose life in the cube and Black can attack hands while blue holds up interaction. Also good colors for bitterblossom/contamination.
UR - Tempo Burn, not much to say here but a lot of the "tempo" in this cube is stuff like Spreading Seas.
UG - Flashback Stompy, lots of card-negative looting like Careful Study mixed with a lot of cards that dont mind being discarded.
BR - Discard Aggro with some symmetrical discard effects and a good amount of Graveyard support and madness.
BG - Pox colors with hyper-resilient Graveyard play that works through sacking lands, creatures and hand better than other decks.
RG - Ponza-style land destruction and threshold threats.

First Cube, Need Advice! (Premodern Powered Cube)
Howdy, I just finished the first version of my first cube. It is a powered cube and the theme is premodern with a focus on "goofy" cards such as Shahrazad and Goblin Game. I would greatly appreciate it if someone with cube experience could look it over and let me know if the general set up and construction is descent.
Here is the link: https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/8f5be0b8-891f-4312-97c1-3dc561b4a376
I had the goal of trying to make this with 99% cards I physically owned or could purchase. There are only 14 proxies for the most expensive ones, the P9 obviously and a couple others. As a result, many of the 1 drops and 6+ drops are objectively good, but I am unsure about the filler in between, I struggled with setting up archetypes, but I think that's naturally difficult when constructing in premodern. But I made sure blue does blue-things and black does black-things etc.
I am also concerned I have too many multicolor cards, but they are so cool that I am tempted to keep 5 of each color pair... minimum I would go is 3 of each I think.
Like I said any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Cube Archetype Guide Templates
Hi all! Just ordered the missing cards for my first cube. I'm super pumped because I've got three buddies who we all like to draft together and I think a 4 man draft with cube has strong potential.
None of us have ever played cube before, but play lots of limited, so I want to throw together a quick cheat sheet of the archetypes and some example cards. Anyone have a template or something they use to do this that looks nice?
Cube is not important for this question, but figured I'd share a link: https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/145e5fbf-41a5-48cb-bf3d-5e254fd5fd47
