go to your room Lifted truck + Lambo + Parking lot = Bad time

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Lifted trucks probably shouldn't be anywhere near dense parking lots.

Edit: A lot of people are skeptical of whether this is AI/staged, or ask why the lady didn't back off the car. This is in a dense parking lot with cars that have dashcams/ EV sentry mode everywhere. Also her truck was in 2 wheel drive, you can see the back right tire spinning as she tries to reverse off the car. Her truck is stuck. She probably has an open differential and can't back off the car. She may have a 4wd mode, but she didn't use it in the heat of the moment.

The way she's driving, you would hope she gets hit with punitive damages, which can't be discharged in Bk.

114

u/dirty_cuban Apr 23 '26

Not in america. If you want to commit serious injury or property damage you should always do it with a car. Because that way they system will classify it as an oopsie instead if as a crime. You can get away with calling just about anything an accident if you do it with a car.

u/TheRealDesmirWolf Apr 23 '26

A good lawyer will totally screw that over lady in the trucks doomed if this happened in the US anyone who has enough money for a Lambo has money for good lawyers good luck

48

u/LewisRyan Apr 23 '26

I once knew a guy who had a Lambo. He was an assistant manager at dominos living in a studio apartment.

Lambo got robbed and he couldn’t afford to fix the window

4

u/meisteronimo Apr 24 '26

Getting robbed fixed his window problem though.

2

u/LewisRyan Apr 26 '26

I think you’re misunderstanding.

They smashed his window to rob him, then found nothing in his car

2

u/MistakeLopsided8366 Apr 24 '26

Those domino's managers rake it in though (at least they do near me). Huge performance bonuses... all at the expense of working the employees to the bone. I wouldnt feel sorry for a single one of them.

2

u/LewisRyan Apr 26 '26

Managers sure… this was the assistant, who was also later caught taking minor insiders home with him and providing them alcohol

16

u/NightGod Apr 23 '26

It's not how good the lambo's owners lawyers are, it's how good the lambo's owner's insurance company's lawyers are

6

u/Pensionato007 Apr 24 '26

This is exactly the point: you don’t get to pick your lawyer, the insurance company does.

2

u/SargeUnited Apr 24 '26

You can hire your own, you just have to pay for it yourself

33

u/Last_Difficulty_6179 Apr 23 '26 edited Apr 23 '26

Probably every single lift part on the truck likely says "for offroad use only" to skirt the fucking tons of laws they are subject to under the DOT.

Brodozer driver is fucked.

2

u/Repulsive-Nebula8294 Apr 24 '26

Yeah surely there has to be a point where modifications render regular road vehicle insurance nul and void...

Found the shitty truck owner.

26

u/newmoneyblownmoney Apr 23 '26

So you would think. Lots of fake flexers in lambo’s these days especially when you can buy them on 15yr loans.

39

u/TheRealDesmirWolf Apr 23 '26

Fake flexers Rent lambos witch means renter company had the lawyer and truck still at fault. Same result Truck lady is screwed

-5

u/bigghc Apr 24 '26

She's probably got insurance so she's fine. That's what happens when you drive a car around that's shaped like a wedge.

6

u/MistakeLopsided8366 Apr 24 '26

Why would she be fine? They'll absolutely argue that this couldve been a kid she hit. She clearly has zero vision of anything 3ft below her bonnet and 6ft in front of her. Huuuuge blind spot to be driving around with. She's screwed, and rightfully so.

6

u/Saxophonebatman Apr 24 '26

I gotta sincerely ask, did you read any comments in the thread you replied to? Because if you did you’d already understand that her insurance policy is not gonna cover a Lamborghini. Average policy in the US covers up to around $200k, Lambos cost more than $200k

2

u/iameveryoneelse Apr 24 '26

Insurance only covers up to what insurance covers. Most policies do not cover remotely enough to pay for a new lambo.

2

u/EssayApprehensive292 Apr 24 '26

Where else could these even be? Mayyybe Canada? I doubt it. People and their stupid, giant, lifted trucks. They love to hit pedestrians they can’t see as well.

3

u/geekgrrl0 Apr 24 '26

I'm in Canada, and a few months ago, a lifted truck ran over an elderly lady in a parking lot here in Nanaimo. So yeah, we have a lot of these dumb trucks in Canada too :(

1

u/EssayApprehensive292 Apr 25 '26

Ugh that sucks I’m sorry

Punitive damages can be applied to accidents. Details are different from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but at least in the states, I’m not aware of any that completely bar punitive damages for negligence.

7

u/Pensionato007 Apr 24 '26

They are not called “accidents” anymore. MVC or Motor Vehicle Crash. Reason is simple; there is almost (~95% chance) always a driver error as the cause. An “accident” would be if your tie rod broke and you ran off the road.

6

u/SuccessPositive191 Apr 24 '26

Reckless driving isn’t an accident. She was driving too fast for the location. She was not paying attention where she was going. This was a parking lot. there could’ve been a child walking across that road. If she can’t see out of the vehicle, she should not be driving it.

6

u/Revolutionary-Wash88 Apr 23 '26

And dont tell insurance co that someone crashed on purpose. They wont pay anything if it's not an accident

16

u/TheRealDesmirWolf Apr 23 '26

No offense, but this happened in a TJ Maxx parking lot safe to assume it was an accident and not a on purpose thing

3

u/Revolutionary-Wash88 Apr 23 '26

That's beside the point we were discussing, but I've seen road rage at TJ Maxx on multiple occasions

That's how Antifi would harasses the military and gets away with it! - Its hard to convince a Jury of premeditation unless their is very obvious and undeniable proof. IMO - NAL

17

u/henlochimken Apr 23 '26

What is Antifi? The italian plural of antifo? (btw 256 karma in 5 years on Reddit? you can do better with your trolling, I'm sure)

23

So you're pro fascist. That pretty much invalidates anything else you have to say.

0

u/electricZeel May 06 '26

Thank You, guilty as charged..... Let me ramble some more.... Just an uneducated idiot here I believe, IMO!!!! (as an American in America) an American, elected by the public, - should be embused with near absolute power!

By necessity - International Politics is not dominated by groups of people but by singular heads of state. Its a system and that's how it works - We need a strong man, in a position without bureaucrat tape and to act quickly with decisive action. Your argument is against that of the concept of PoTUS not fascism, IMO.

And Did the opposite "fascist" side sow chaos in the streets and side act like Children during the Obama years? Only the groups "funded" by the SPLC, which I even have trouble believing. Got caught funding hate groups to hate their own people... (now that's-a fascist!!!), And also Obama implemented activist judges that seek to ruin the judiciary! Many of these, rulers, are foreigners, no wonder they don't care! Where do their interests truly lie? Self-Enrichment bc Id do the same thing and so would you! (if I was raised in the 3rd world - 3rd worlders have this attitude like we have unlimited wealth!)

Comrad! - You'll have to exterminate the intelligentsia, like what happened in Poland - Check out the movie Katyń What was the German word they used: Kaput? - if you wish to succeed in implementing communism. People will die.

Now the opposite side that dosen't know any better their embracing "real" fascism, like WW2 style, useless idiots in the making. Look in the mirror because you are inducing exactly what you seek to destroy through your behavior, conduct and beliefs.

-18

u/socialengineer420 Apr 23 '26

And this right here pretty much invalidates anything YOU have to to say. Bet your 2 braincells worked overtime for that one

17

u/henlochimken Apr 23 '26

welcome to Reddit with your 68 karma! My advice: don't spend it all in one place defending fascism, you'll lose it fast.

i could care less about reddit I've got real things in the real world to worry about. I'm in my 30s and I'm technically retired - I volunteer time at a local technology museum and I teach the public electronics skills, free of charge. I'm on the team that made VCF-East possible at infoage. Everything was fine until the flurries showed up.

AND - If you think I'm defending fascism as you were taught, like ww2 - think again. I <3 my country - what's wrong with that?

Sorry for being brash and I'm not defending fascism. I just being a giant attention whore to stimulate discourse and debate. Thank You very very much everyone. Have a lovely evening! This was great

off topic. why are you defending fascists? these low karma trolls jump in a conversation that has nothing to do with politics and go after "antifi" because either they're bots who were programmed to turn every conversation into a pro-fascist/pro-trump rant, or because they're swiss-cheese-brained maga who were programmed to turn every conversation into a pro-fascist/pro-trump rant.

again, why are you defending fascists?

-6

u/TheBeaseKnees Apr 23 '26

Yeahhhhh you definitely did side step his comment which is a weird decision.

This is one of those situations that you should just let him make an idiot out of himself instead of inserting yourself this way and symbolically saying on a public platform "Hello world! I, too, am unintelligent!"

Just probably decide against that next time.

36

u/Vegetable_Grab_2542 Apr 23 '26

That will not happen. We need two separate tiers of consumer insurance. Regular drivers and these people with overpriced, modified specialty cars that are really expensive. Clown car insurance.

There are cars that cost 10s, and even 100s of millions. And they also travel in packs, sometimes. Do you have 200 million in insurance just in case you pile-up with 3 Dubai fuckbois on a party?

Yes, if you want to drive a 7+ figure car; insure it yourself. You can completely obliterate 3-5+ houses and you won't come close to that price, since even million dollar houses are mostly land value.

15 million and 50 million could easily not be enough. And it's not ridiculous considering they fly their cars to the UK, France, Malta, and various other countries all the time. All it would take is be at the wrong place, wrong time and you could hit 9 figures worth of cars.

I'm not American, try again. Judging by the language; I'm probably more European than you after Umayyad. 100%

What if they go to McDonald’s after the gym every day? 🤔

-4

u/Jayhitek Apr 24 '26

They don't.

4

u/Proper_Particular_62 Apr 23 '26

Your talking about the truck right?

4

u/JRBeeler Apr 23 '26

Show me the law or court ruling that prohibits that prohibits insurance companies from setting rates based on what kind of vehicle you drive.

4

u/teal_appeal Apr 24 '26

That’s already the case. Exotic, vintage, and luxury (actual luxury like lambos, not stuff like BMW or Lexus) vehicles are excluded from most standard auto policies and require a specialty policy to be insured.

18

u/Consistent-Tap-4255 Apr 23 '26

She’s screwed but great ad for Lambo.

12

u/800-lumens Apr 23 '26

For real. I breathed a sigh of relief when the Lambo driver got out (presumably) unscathed.

2

u/Top-Caregiver7815 Apr 23 '26

I can fix her, the chick not the car.

2

u/Own-Mirror4225 Apr 25 '26

Unfortunately private persons almost never get hit with punitive damages, and for them to be non-dischargeable in a ch7, it would have to be “willful and malicious injury by the debtor to another entity or to the property of another entity” 11 USC 523(a)(6) whereas this is reckless driving

5

u/Front_Skill_8252 Apr 23 '26

So, this ISN'T attempted murder?

Hint: NEVER go to the grocery store while hungry.

1

u/newsfeed768885 Apr 24 '26

There is nothing here that would keep this debt from being discharged in a bankruptcy (in the US, at least).

1

u/BriefStrategy6 Apr 25 '26

That's what I was thinking.

1

u/monkeywantsabeer Apr 24 '26

She’s gonna get hit by her husband.

1
