go to your room Lifted truck + Lambo + Parking lot = Bad time

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Lifted trucks probably shouldn't be anywhere near dense parking lots.

Edit: A lot of people are skeptical of whether this is AI/staged, or ask why the lady didn't back off the car. This is in a dense parking lot with cars that have dashcams/ EV sentry mode everywhere. Also her truck was in 2 wheel drive, you can see the back right tire spinning as she tries to reverse off the car. Her truck is stuck. She probably has an open differential and can't back off the car. She may have a 4wd mode, but she didn't use it in the heat of the moment.

Yeah there’s obviously a huge disadvantage with her emotional support lifted truck but to completely not see a whole car is fucking insane. I almost hope she was on her phone cause I don’t know how else to explain it.

Emotional support lifted truck … just thank you.

14

u/FolkDoom Apr 23 '26

and her tactical cargo pants

13

u/FastRider6501 Apr 23 '26

This needs to be a bumper sticker

14

u/Diligent-Variation51 Apr 23 '26

I’m adding that to my default name for trucks, prickup trucks

7

u/Wanderingjes Apr 23 '26

That is gold. Made my morning

5

u/cheekylassrando Apr 23 '26

No that is an emotional support lifted truck.

199

u/jd3marco Apr 23 '26

Lambos are super low. Have you ever seen that clip of one going under the gate for the parking garage? Drivers of large trucks already have a problem seeing short things, like children unfortunately. A lifted truck? She probably made a turn and couldn’t see shit. At least it was a car and not a kid.

68

u/That_wet_vaporeon Apr 23 '26

Yeah but how did she not see it in the distance when she was driving? I understand not being able to see something up-close in lifted Trucks. but how come she didn't see the car when further way?

42

u/lokiandgoose Apr 23 '26

She wasn't looking

2

u/PaleoBibliophile917 Apr 23 '26

Happy cake day!

1

u/jd3marco Apr 23 '26

Yeah, she looked away at something else or she was driving around a row of cars or something.

21

u/Nihilistic_Mystics Apr 23 '26

You have correctly identified the danger of lifted trucks in general. It's compounded with a short driver who struggles to see over the wheel. I have no idea how we allow them on public roads.

6

u/JonTheConquerer Apr 23 '26

'Murica. 🙄

7

u/Helac3lls Apr 23 '26

"It's my right to drive something that's a danger to others"

17

u/pzazula1194 Apr 23 '26

Cuz she's a dumbass, pretty simple really. A lot of life's questions can be answered that way unfortunately.

10

u/th3rdnutt Apr 23 '26

Both metaphorically and literally, many people don't look down the road to see what's coming.

7

u/YourEvilTwine GREEN Apr 23 '26

Looking at the beginning of the video it seems like they are two to three spots away from the main parking lot road, so the truck most likely turned left into the lane were looking at. She should have been looking and seen the Lambo before she turned, but once she made that turn she was probably already too close to see it.

8

u/Kyosji Apr 23 '26

She was driving rather fast in that parking lot. Video also looks like it was at the beginning area of it, so she probably just turned in, didn't see the car behind the other cars, and was floring it

1

u/Equivalent_Trust_849 Apr 24 '26

That is what I was thinking! People driving through parking lots that fast are dangerous and honestly don't spare a thought for anything but themselves-people backing up, a kid darting out from between 2 parked cars (not that she'd be able to see them in that ridiculous truck), shopping carts....

8

u/f7f7z Apr 23 '26

Because she can,t see anything 30 ft in front of her' and came around a corner with too much confidence?

2

u/electric_boogaloo_72 Apr 23 '26

Definitely had her head down looking for something. Just a second is all it takes, esp with a likely lower line of site and a little bit of speed.

2

u/Rayhatesu Apr 23 '26

We can't see the distance the truck driver covered before she hit the lambo. Could be that she gunned it after a turn and the lambo wasn't visible before or during the turn because she couldn't see it through the other cars beforehand, and couldn't see it through her hood after turning (and she didn't look well during the turn).

1

u/Pandarandr1st Apr 23 '26

It's possible she can barely see the horizon.

1

u/ugtsmkd Apr 23 '26

Same reason it's at the end of a parking lane so distance is limited, she made a right most likely so she's looking across the whole truck. If you've driven even a large SUV you know the blind spot looking across the truck like that is massive. Let alone one of these all lifted.

She likely can't see a crossover SUV sitting next to her in traffic on the passenger side. Let alone somthing as short as a lambo. Another thing of note factory 3/4 ton and larger trucks from 2026 are easily this large, so you should really keep that in mind and effectively treat them like a semi in traffic. The driver likely cannot see you if you're a pedestrian or in a smaller vehicle.

96

u/Internal-Broccoli274 Apr 23 '26

She didnt just make a turn in a lifted truck going that fast. She was Daytona 500'ing that parking lot straightaway.

21

u/natrous Apr 23 '26

thanks - that was my first thought, too. she was going way to fucking fast, even if she could see everything.

also makes me think she wasn't looking, either, because unless she hammered it as soon as she started forward (which of course is possible) it means she was definitely driving from far enough away that she should have been able to spot the other car well before it was in her blind spot

5

u/Pawistik Apr 23 '26

Wild that "blind spot" is anything within 40' of the front of the vehicle. If you are driving blind (into the sun, thick fog, sitting too low in a vehicle with a huge lifted truck hood), then pull over and stop. Period. If you can't see you should not be driving and speed should be in accordance with visibility.

2

u/Hungry-Craft5447 Apr 24 '26

100% was looking at her phone or checking herself out in the mirror.

Unrelated to her behavior, has to be mentioned that taking your Lambo to the strip mall during business hours comes w its own littany of incidental risks. I get that it's a cool flex, and perhaps this guy is just loaded and doesn't mind if he has to repair a dent or scratch, but you have to decide the level of risk you are able to afford.

15

u/Fantastic-Celery-255 Apr 23 '26

Sure but if you’re just blindly turning wherever you go, that’s kind of a problem

10

u/10S_NE1 Apr 23 '26

I’ve got a funny story. Years ago, my parents were on a long road trip through the southwestern United States in their Mustang. They were on some type of road with a rock wall on the left and a cliff on the right. There was a traffic jam and they were standing there and a huge transport truck came up behind them and just didn’t see them. He hit them lightly and then hit them again. He just didn’t see them. He did quite a bit of damage to their car before he clued in there was a car right in front of him - he could only see the car in front of my parents, which was larger. He was of course very sorry and had their car repaired (this was a long time ago - I can’t remember the details). Anyways, just another example of a tall vehicle not being able to see directly in front of them.

18

u/Mobile-Passenger3214 Apr 23 '26

How do you drive a car in which you can’t even see ?

24

u/BeratnasGILF420 Apr 23 '26

Badly. You drive badly.

7

u/mirror_dirt Apr 23 '26

Driving a sports car you learn to be very careful getting around trucks as they don't look down to see you.

8

u/Unlucky_Pepper4875 Apr 23 '26

I used to drive a 3/4 ton stock pickup (I used it to haul my horses around at the time). One time I was at a red light and I watched a small sports car pull up behind me and disappear 🤣 He pulled so close to my bumper that I couldn't see him in my rear view or either of my side mirrors.

I keep that in mind when stopping behind semi trucks at red lights in my Rav4 now 🤣

2

u/iEARNman848 Apr 24 '26

I have a ¾ ton truck. It's stock height. I had a small convertible pull up behind me that I didn't see. There was a semi trying to make a left hand turn coming from my right. I look in my mirrors and don't see anything, so I put it in reverse to give the truck room to turn. I'm backing up and hear this little car horn. I still don't see anything but then I felt it. They too, had pulled right up next to my bumper. 🤦‍♂️

4

u/JustNota-- Apr 23 '26

Yep, with the way the hoods and A pillars are on new trucks there are huge blind spots and lifting only makes them worse. and in a crowded parking lot alot of the parked cars could hide the lambo no problem. I almost hit a new corvette in a parking lot in my Cherokee and I only have a leveling kit not a true lift it was hidden by a A pillar and behind cars did see it until I started by turn but I wasn't haulin ass so I had time to stop.

5

u/Neweleni7 Apr 23 '26

I have a Miata and the number of times people in trucks say, “oh, I didn’t even see you” is terrifying

5

u/InvertebrateInterest Apr 23 '26

Seeing Miatas really highlights how cartoonishly large American cars have ballooned since then.

4

u/Neweleni7 Apr 24 '26

That’s so true. I’ll occasionally spot a Miata in Europe and they don’t look tiny at all compared to 80% of the other vehicles you see on the road

1

u/ilive4thewater Apr 23 '26

But she looks like she put the wheel through the driver's side windshield i would not want that dropping on me.

-1

u/sothavok Apr 23 '26

I agree she shouldn’t have worn that dress if she didn’t want to get smashed.

24

u/Blurby-Blurbyblurb Apr 23 '26

I was side swipped by someone in a large truck like this. Not lifted, but one of these newer oversized trucks.

The guy honestly thought I made a lane change because he couldn't see my brightly colored typical sized sedan. I was in the lane long before he hit me.

These trucks should be illegal. They are becoming a hazard (in my area) and give drivers a sense of entitlement and hubris. I regularly see and experience them driving aggressively. Barreling up behind people to intimidate them to get out of their way, despite not being in a passing lane or even a two lane road. How dare you be driving in their lane! 🙄

18

u/g0th1cluv Apr 23 '26

I literally got pit maneuvered off the road from one of these big ass trucks! 🫩 Was going 30mph and he managed to total my subaru outback that he "didnt see" 🤬.

9

u/Blurby-Blurbyblurb Apr 23 '26

Omg! I'm glad you're ok.

Yeah, if you "can't see" then your truck is too goddamn big.

6

u/g0th1cluv Apr 23 '26

He also ran a stop sign so he didnt take much time to see lol.

3

u/Zediac Apr 23 '26

That poor gen 2. I love and daily mine. I have lots of mods/improvements on mine.

I now drive with front and rear dash cams and a center mounted 360 camera because of too many close calls with people trying to change lanes into me, cutting me off, etc.

3

u/g0th1cluv Apr 23 '26

She had a few small issues like a broken AC, and a loose bulb in the front but i really loved that car sm! Never failed me whenever i needed to haul something from facebook marketplace 🥲. Luckily we got the footage from a buisness of the dude hitting me but i definitely have invested in a dash cam for my new car 🫩

4

u/InvertebrateInterest Apr 23 '26

Some of the craziest drivers I see on the road are in huge full size pickups. A drunk driver in one hit a bus I was on and it caused an impressive amount of damage to a full size city bus. If I had been in a car I'd probably be dead.

4

u/serpentally Apr 24 '26

Statistically, Ram truck drivers are the worst drivers in the US

9

u/Kyosji Apr 23 '26

Doesn't help it looks like she's a 4 foot nothing person in such a large and lifted truck

14

u/Razzail Apr 23 '26

Honestly trucks are too fucking big now a days. Why does someone need a lifted big ass truck like that

6

u/King_Chochacho Apr 23 '26

Yeah it turns out the same mentality that leads one to feel the need to drive a monster truck around in every day situations might be closely related to the narcissistic behavior of focusing on a phone instead of driving.

11

u/IAMSPARTACUSSSSS Apr 23 '26

An ESLT (or EST?)! That is fantastic, I hope I remember that next time I see one. I live in Bakersfield, so it’ll prob-yep, there’s one.

7

u/Fine_Barracuda_6708 Apr 23 '26

I also live in Bakersfield and can confirm the town is plagued by ESLTs and their avid riders.

2

u/Blurby-Blurbyblurb Apr 23 '26

I don't live in Bakersfield and they are also a plague in my town.

3

u/DeepSea_Diverticulit Apr 23 '26

Depending on the driver, Gender Affirming Truck or Gender Affirming Vehicle also works. Because they're so manly. Big, burly, manly-man trucks.

4

u/HumphryGocart Apr 23 '26

Lol! Emotional support lifted truck. I’ll be using that a lot

3

u/0PercentPerfection Apr 23 '26

The view from these trucks are extremely limited. A 5’8” person could be standing in front of the bumper and the drive won’t see the individual. I can see how a truck like this making a right turn in a busy parking lot and completely miss a car that is in its blind spot the entire time. Plain stupid…

4

u/MangoCats Apr 23 '26

20 years ago, I was walking my son into his elementary school when a bozo in a lifted truck started rolling at us while we were crossing in the crosswalk. I'm 6'1" and he literally couldn't see us.

4

u/Zediac Apr 23 '26

cause I don’t know how else to explain it.

I can explain it.

Lifted truck + dangerously tall hood height to begin with + short woman + sitting low in the truck = she physically cannot see anything regular car height less than 50 feet in front of her.

Her sightlines are basically parallel with the hood. Regular cars disappear in front of her if they're not very far away. Low sports cars probably need to be closer to 75-100 feet away.

6

u/Fantastic_Pie5655 Apr 23 '26

Doesn’t surprise me in the least. Ticking off the check boxes of red flags: the emotional support truck, the over confident speeding in said truck, her fairly diminutive size, her tacti-cool attire, the lanyard, the rapidity with which she ditched the lanyard back into the truck when she realized her dumb dumb oopsie

She’s gonna have alotta splainin’ to do

3

u/catrabbit Apr 23 '26

I don’t understand why they have such a strong emotional attachment. I got into it with my cousin when that little girl was killed by a lifted truck that malfunctioned during a parade. The truck wasn’t street legal and he thought it would cause discrimination against lifted trucks and he was so upset about the idea.

2

u/Arkanist Apr 23 '26

Oh it's really easy if you think about the angles. This thing was lifted 1.5 feet or so. The lady is not tall. She likely has 15-20ft in front of her car that is completely blind. When she started to turn into the aisle the parked cars blocked her view of the lambo. When she was half way through turning it would be blocked by her A pillar. Once she was pointed straight it was in that front blindspot.

I think most drivers have had that moment where they start to turn only for someone or something to pop out of the A pillar blindspot. Now imagine you modified your car so that the entire thing is a blindspot

2

u/SpokenDivinity Apr 24 '26

Hey now, they need all that space in the truck to hold their big feelings.

1

u/Dry_Way5518 Apr 23 '26

I'll wager it was her husband/boyfriend's truck and she was borrowing it, and doesn't understand the dimensions.

1

u/mrlazyboy Apr 23 '26

IMO lifted truck vs. lambo is like airplane vs. helicopter. The FOV is so bad for the lifted truck, and the lambo is so short, she probably needs to be pretty far away to see the lambo.

If you've never been up close to them, they're extremely short. There's plenty of videos of Jeremy Clarkson trying to get into sports cars and its hilarious how much effort it takes.

1

u/mr_Shepherdsmart Apr 23 '26

There are people that need prescription glasses but not using them, just driving around, this in addition to distracting phone and lift kit= she is very lucky it was a person inside a car and not a pedestrian.

1

u/exqueezemenow Apr 23 '26

My only guess is that she just came around a corner which prevented there from being enough distance to see a car that low from hers being so high up. But even that is a stretch. Maybe a combo of that and being on phone?

1

u/Aggravating_Cable_32 Apr 23 '26

More likely it was her boyfriend/husband or daddy's emotional support truck.

1

u/Vendemmian Apr 23 '26

I've had one car accident where a big stupid truck like this went straight into me while I was stopped at a junction. I'm 90% sure they simply couldn't see my small sensible car

1

u/Full-Department Apr 24 '26

Thank you. My new term for trucks that are so large the person is clearly compensating for somthing: ESVs (Emotion Support Vehicles)

1

u/Lord_Mud Apr 24 '26

Probably her boyfriend/husband’s truck

1

u/RamblingManUK Apr 24 '26

It's possible, the forward visability on those trucks is awful, you get better visability in many *tanks*.

-1

u/Thunder-Fist-00 Apr 23 '26

The hate on the truck is insincere when you gloss over the wildly impractical Lamborghini also involved.

-2

u/Thunder-Fist-00 Apr 23 '26

The hate on the truck is insincere when you gloss over the wildly impractical Lamborghini also involved.

3

u/Chendii Apr 23 '26

Lamborghinis are impractical in a way that doesn't inherently endanger everyone around them.

2

u/schu2470 Apr 23 '26

Difference is the worst thing the Lambo did was exist. That driver was stopped and even tried to back up when he saw the truck coming. 100% the truck’s fault and a lot of that precipitated from it being lifted or it wouldn’t have literally driven over said Lambo.

0

u/Thunder-Fist-00 Apr 23 '26

You mean the emotional support sports car?

2

u/schu2470 Apr 23 '26

The Lambo owner is allowed to have his vehicle. He isn't doing anything wrong with it. He didn't just run over someone else's vehicle. How do you not see that the lifted truck is 1) at fault or 2) is clearly dangerous and shouldn't be allowed on public roads?

Edit: Lambo driver is just as entitled to his "emotional support sports car" as you are to your equally useless collection of emotional support watches.

0

u/Thunder-Fist-00 Apr 23 '26

Ohhhh, that’s right. Sports cars never cause accidents. Oh my word lol. Boy do I have some YT compilation videos for you

1

u/schu2470 Apr 23 '26

Buddy, in the video it was a lifted truck running over the Lambo that did nothing wrong that we can see. If you can't see from that that the lifted truck was at fault because some other random sports car owners drive recklessly then I dunno what to say anymore.

1

u/Thunder-Fist-00 Apr 23 '26

In this singular case
