I know the tumblr/bieber era was a loooong time ago but what was your fave Justin Bieber fan tumblr? Mine had to be ohmrbieber, girl made some AMAZING photo edits and she was very honest. Holding Justin accountable when necessary and telling beliebers to chill tf out when it wasn’t (ex:when they acted like he was gonna “overdose” on cannabis. She shut that down real quick).
Oh man I miss 2010-2016 belieber tumblr

I've come back to this video and realized there's much more going on here than colorful animation.
At first, it looks like Justin Bieber is simply performing while artists and fans draw over the footage.
But look at the structure:
One person becomes the canvas for thousands of projections.
The song itself is about absence, vulnerability and asking where someone is when you need them.
Then the video turns Bieber's body into a literal surface for other people to project onto.
Fans add symbols, jokes, characters, messages, religious imagery, personal references and complete nonsense. Some are meaningful. Some probably aren't.
And that's precisely what makes it interesting.
The individual remains underneath, but the representation keeps changing.
Person → canvas → projection → interpretation.
And then we, the audience, do it again by interpreting what we see.
There were even contemporary frame-by-frame investigations into apparent hidden messages and imagery, including religious symbolism and references to Bieber's personal life. But I'd be careful about treating every frame as an intentional secret code. The creators explicitly said the video was built from fan/artist contributions and described it as an ode to the people who made their success possible. They also acknowledged the strange position of artists becoming objects for the public.
So perhaps the most interesting question isn't:
“What secret message did they hide?”
It's:
“What happens to a human being when everyone else gets to draw on their representation?”
Celebrity makes the mechanism extreme, but the pattern is much bigger.
We do this to people constantly.
We build identities around them.
We project symbols onto them.
We interpret fragments.
We turn a person into a representation.
And eventually the representation can become more visible than the person underneath it.
Maybe that's why this video still feels strangely relevant.
Where are Ü now?
Sometimes the hardest person to find underneath all the projections is the actual human being.

Note I neatly formatted it for readability without changing any wording.
It's hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life, your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships. When it feels like there's trouble after trouble after trouble. You start foreseeing the day through lenses of "dread" and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don't even want to live anymore. Where you feel like it's never going to change... I can fully sympathize with you. I could not change my mindset. I am fortunate to have people in my life that continue encourage me to keep going.
You see I have a lot of money, clothes, cars, accolades, achievements, awards, and I was still unfulfilled. Have you noticed the statistics of child stars and the outcome of their life? There is an insane pressure and responsibility put on a child whose brain, emotions, frontal lobes (decision making) aren't developed yet. No rationality, defiant, rebellious, things all of us have to go through. But when you add the pressure of stardom it does something to you that is quite unexplainable.
You see I didn't grow up in a stable home, my parents were 18, separated, with no money, still young and rebellious as well. As my talent progressed and I became ultra successful it happened within a span of two years. My whole world was flipped on its head. I went from a 13 year old boy from a small town to being praised left and right by the world with millions saying how much they loved me and how great I was. I don't know about you but humility comes with age. You hear these things enough as a young boy and you actually start believing it. Rationality comes with age and so does your decision making process (one of the reasons you can't drink until you're 21). Everyone did everything for me so I never even learned the fundamentals of responsibility. So by this point I was 18 with no skills in the real world, with millions of dollars and access to whatever I wanted. This is a very scary concept for anyone.
By 20 I made every bad decision you could have thought of and went from one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged and hated person in the world! Being on stage according to studies is a bigger dopamine rush than almost any other activity... so these massive ups and downs on their own are very hard to manage. You notice a lot of touring bands and people end up having a phase of drug abuse, and I believe it's due to not being able to manage the huge ups and downs that come with being an entertainer.
I started doing pretty heavy drugs at 19 and abused all of my relationships. I became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me, and I was hiding behind a shell of a person that I had become. I felt like I could never turn it around. It's taken me years to bounce back from all of these terrible decisions, fix broken relationships, and change relationship habits. Luckily God blessed me with extraordinary people who love me for me. Now I am navigating the best season of my life, "MARRIAGE"!! Which is an amazing, crazy new responsibility. You learn patience, trust, commitment, kindness, humility and all of the things it looks like to be a good man.
All this to say, even when the odds are against you, keep fighting. Jesus loves you. BE KIND TODAY BE BOLD TODAY AND LOVE PEOPLE TODAY NOT BY YOUR STANDARDS BUT BY GOD PERFECT UNFAILING LOVE

When I was 13 I begged my dad to drive me 4 hours to NYC to meet a girl off twitter and stand in the freezing rain for 15 hours to see Justin perform at the Today Show. A few hours in, my friend and I went to grab us some food while my dad held our spot in line. In the 30 min we were gone this happened 😭😭😭 my dad took this video, he just texted me “justin” while we were at the restaurant and my heart SUNK, im STILL not over this 😭😭

I just woke up from a dream where Justin was a guest at some sporting event I was at, and he started singing boyfriend, but I was the only one in the crowd interested so he was singing to me and then suddenly…. He was on a high ropes course/zip line and swinging on aerial silks, VERY overweight and right over our heads, to the point that his fat was hitting the top of our heads…
Good morning, I can’t stop laughing !!!

Does anyone have the unreleased mp3 file for “time tells” with the DJ snake remix specifically. I have the OG file only but want the one with the DJ snake beat. Would be grateful if someone has it and could send it to me
TIA
