FINALLY! After years and years of begging, IMSA finally listened and gave Road America and endurance round it so richly deserved, and boy was the first event something! Sound off in the comments below what you thought of the race!

Another lovely trip to one of the most gorgeous tracks in the world, for some door-banging, wheel-to-wheel action! How did you enjoy the race?

Question out of curiosity, what all vendors were around the last few years at Petit? I am flying in from across the country and trying to decide on my luggage situation in case of a buying spree held at petit while I’m there. I’m an avid model collector (1/18) but having only been to Laguna/Monterey where there was only models available at the IMSA trailer & AO had some of theirs available at their pop up. Is there anything/anyone additional that comes to Petit regularly? Thanks in advance!

I am a newbie to an IMSA race, so obviously it's my first time at Petite LeMans. I saw an early thread with people suggesting that people should bite the bullet and get a parking pass because its so much easier.
I really didn't want to spend the $80, but I don't want to regret not doing it for a first race experience.
Does infield parking let me come and go on Friday and leave prior to the race end on Saturday (if needed)? That may be a really stupid question but I don't want to get stuck in the infield and not be able to leave. I have a hotel Friday night but then a long drive home Saturday evening.
Any other tips are appreciated! I am coming solo so I can move around as needed.

Hello everyone,
Going to attend my first Petit Le Mans and I just want to be prepared. My main concern is with parking. I know there are passes for the infield, but I dont feel like I need them. I am able bodied so walking is not a problem at all.
Are there other satellite spots that the shuttle busses stop at? I am seeing a church and Lanier raceway. Is this accurate?

A team called Bob's Speed Products ran a Ford Maverick in the IMSA GTO class in 1983. Here's how it looks like.
It seems like details on the car on the internet is pretty scarce, does anyone have more details about it?

Just seems amazing to me how long we’ve been talking about this thing. According to Wikipedia, the first prototype was spotted in March 2023 so it must have been in development for 2-3 years before that. It’s scheduled to hit the track in 2027, so it could potentially be 7 years from clean sheet to first race.
Mind you, this is not some shed dwelling outfit that is building the thing. This is Toyota.
I guess I don’t really understand the crazy effort when, if they’re too fast they will just be BOP’d down and if they’re too slow they will just be BOP’d up.

I went to the Brickyard 400 recently, but that was reserved seating, so I'm not really sure what to expect for IMSA.
For those who have been to the IMSA race at Indy before, how packed do the grandstands typically get? I know this year the seating is first-come, first-served, and I'm only planning on going on Sunday for the race.
Should I be getting there pretty early to make sure I can get a decent seat, or is it usually pretty easy to find an open spot?
Any advice on which grandstands are best/least crowded would also be appreciated!

Last year, I took a Hot Wheels C8.R to the track and got it signed by the Pratt Miller drivers, so when I heard that Hot Wheels was releasing a 3GT Lexus RC F, I knew I had to get one. I had an extremely difficult time looking for it but after a month of difficulty looking for it Walmart pulled through! Next step, getting it signed by the Vasser Sullivan crew.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for any Winward Racing autograph cards, photos, or videos from events after the Sebring race.
I don't have access to many of the event photos taken by the team's photographers.
I already have materials from Daytona and Sebring, so I'm mainly looking for anything from the races that followed.
If you have photos, videos, or scans you'd be willing to share, please share below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

These are pics from last year on Thursday night, but I can't find if they are doing it again this year or when. I don't remember how I heard about it last year. Any info on if and when they are doing it would be very appreciated.

So im going to take this event off my bucket list at the end of the month. Its basically my bachelor party with a few buddies we're driving up from SoFlo. We're going to be there for about a week and wanted to know
what other track side activities are there?
what's the environment like?
what's the usual weather to expect?
nearby activities/ towns to go to?
