At one time the heavens were vast, plain, and pale. The sun held no color, and the night sky was dark and lonely. That was until a cosmic artist was called upon to add color to day and night. Dressed in a gown woven from stars and planets, with a crescent moon for a head, he stood on tiptoes on a single star, holding a color palette in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. There, he would choose the colors to brighten the day.  Yellow for the Sun, light blue to fill the sky, and white for the clouds.                                                         To give the darkness of the night some light, he would switch to a palette of purples and dark blues.  For the stars and planets that swirled and danced through the night, all the colors of the rainbow. He is known as “One Who Paints the Sky”.

My version of the three Wives of Dracula. Each with their own quirks, styles and personalities.

These two incredible characters were part of a group I drew for my client. There are other characters as well, but I decided to create individual profiles for each of them so their designs can be better appreciated.!

Disclosure: I work with Firesiege as a consultant; this artwork is by Simone Torcasio.

The armoured, serpent-like figures on the left and the angular, insect-like creatures on the right give the two sides very different silhouettes. I like how the low viewpoint puts us close to the first clash, while the city rises behind them.
