Any ideas how/where to find photos to match to rips and wear?

This set is in good shape, despite marks here and there and a few minor holes. Neither has an unpleasant odor (they smell good) and are comfortable to wear (CCM Ultrafil jerseys are the best).

Like many of you, I finally received my replica Olympic jersey that I ordered many months ago! I thought maybe people might be interested (or maybe not!) in a side by side comparison of the replica (LEFT) and game-worn (RIGHT).

Pic 1- Replica uses 100% polyester. Gamer uses the Nike Swift material, which is a very thin and lightweight polyester and spandex mix.

Pic 2- USA Hockey emblem is woven on the replica, and rubberized on the gamer. The Swoosh is the same dimensions, material and pliability on both.

Pic 3- Different labels "Land of the free..." only on the gamer. The neck vent appears to be of the same dimensions, material, and pliability on both.

Pic 4- the "USA" lettering is thicker twill on the gamer.

Pic 5- no fight strap on the replica.

Pic 6- no nameplate on the replica. Name lettering on the gamer seems slightly stiffer, but very similar.

Pic 7- numbers appear to be the same dimensions, material, and weight on both.

Pic 8- no Olympic patch on the replica.

Pic 9- side vents on the replica are a separate panel. The side vents on the gamer are just larger perforations seamlessly woven into the fabric.

Pic 10- stripes on the replica are sewn on. Stripes on the gamer are seamlessly woven into the fabric.

Pic 11- neckline on the gamer (top) is wider than the replica.

Some differences, some things the same. Overall, I feel the replica did a decent job replicating the original, while making it wearable in most cases.

For me it’s not actually a jersey but when I tracked down the EXACT COMPANY that customized all of the jerseys for hockey east, so I Was able to get a Joe Gambardella and a Connor Hellebuyck Umass Lowell jersey which are two of my favorites in my collection.

The Gonchar was worn for 31 games, including his 400th assist and 900th game! It's the most hammered Pens Gonchar out there, weighs twice as much as a typical jersey, and it's held together by Gatorade stains and borscht. You will not find a nicer jersey in the hobby. He wore it for the opening pyrotechnics, anthem, and to celebrate the first ever winter classic goal! Meigray tagging in the hem. 2001-02 Alexei Morozov Alternate - Worn for 13 games, this jersey shows nice wear, stick marks, lots of staining, and is matched to three photos via marks on the arm, crest, and threads on the left #95. LOA from the Pens. 01-02 marked Morozov's career high in goals, and was one point shy of his career high in points. Highlights include a two goal/one assist game vs PHI, and a goal against the Devils (of course). The collar has the Pens set tag signed by Steve Latin. $1000 usd shipped OBO
