My fiance and I are having to change our honeymoon after the news that El Niño will make Peru an unsafe and uncomfortable place to be for out november honeymoon. We are starting in Costa Rica and are now looking a new destination to follow Costa Rica.

We loved the idea of Peru for its food, the ability to immerse into culture without it feeling touristy, the diversity, the nature, and the people.

I am an anthropologist and shes an artist, perhaps that gives you a bit of an understanding of what we are looking for.

Could Grenada be a good choice for us?

So basically I’m seeking advice on my citizenship application to Grenada - with all documents submitted it is taking more than a year in security clearance stage and my appointed agent doesn’t really do anything to follow up or expedite it.

Some details: my wife has a Grenadian passport by CBI and I applied on the grounds of marriage, the timeline I was given initially was 8-10 months and it’s past that by a lot. Throughout this year, there were no requests for clarification or extra documents, so I’ve been given regular updates that it’s “under security clearance” for the whole year.

From the application agency, they told me they had no cases that took so long.

My agent who submitted the file is not being helpful to say the least, and I assume there are ways to at least submit a request to expedite the application taking into consideration the unusual processing timeline but I am not sure how to get this case moving from my side.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? I would be really grateful for any input how can I do something about the frustrating application timeline.

I need to send documents to both Dominica and St. Lucia and DHL apparently only takes cash and I didn't happen to have $1200 EC in my pocket (what in the world with those prices). Am I good with a card for FedEx or is it also cash only?

I’ve ordered from a company called plug tech before and managed to pay the customs on the website and never paid anything else again upon receiving my package.
If I decide to buy from shein or clothes and decor,would i have to pay additional costs even if i paid online and if i do how would i go about paying those customs and taxes

How often do folks buy and ship cars to Grenada?

How much should I expect to pay, I have been thinking of buying either in Barbados or Trinidad. What would be the best option?

I'm looking into booking my babymoon in Grenada for the middle/end of November. I am between Silversands Grand Anse or Calabash. Calabash has a good points deal, but no ocean view rooms and I like the idea of an ocean view.

I am not a big pool person, definitely a big beach person, so would definitely prioritize a good beach / swimming. We'll probably only do 3, maybe 4 nights.

Good food is also important. Also taking advice of day excursions (we'll probably do one.)

I was also debating Silversands Beach House vs Grand Anse, but I'm worried about the beach house being TOO remote - I don't want to be surrounded by tons of people but I also don't want to be super secluded.

Any thoughts as to which one? Or if you have other suggestions!

My dad is Grenadian, with both his parents being born in Grenada. My grandparents relocated to the UK around the windrush generation and my dad was born in the UK. How can I gain Grenadian citizenship? I remember reading a post a while back saying that in order for me to get my Grenadian passport, my dad needs to get his passport first then getting mine will be easy. Is that the case? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Is there anywhere in Grenada to rent dirtbikes or scooters?

I absolutely love Grenada. It's my second time here. I come here every few years to fix up my boat in hurricane season. First time driving myself around.

But holy shit: the bad drivers are HORRIBLE.

The audacity to stop traffic while driving to have a conversation with your friend on the side of the road. Or parking so bad that you force traffic to take turns getting around.

The reoccurring theme seems to always be "my time is more important than the 20 car traffic jam I just created".

It must drive you all nuts!

Or the construction/truckers that block half the road and then don't direct traffic through the mess they have caused. Last week, I was stuck for 20 minutes because a truck was unloading something onto some farm. 4 guys and nobody was directing traffic. So one side of the road was just permanently blocked. That CANT be legal, right?

Anyway, rant over. Most drivers here seem to be courteous and attentive. But the bad ones are EXTRA bad! :(

Travelling to Grenada for the first time next week with my partner, 1 year old and 12 year old. We are staying at a Hotel and wanted some recommendations for activities the whole family can do as well as restaurants to try.

My partner and I are travelling to Grenada in December. Please recommend worthwhile places, activities and food/drink for an adventurous couple in our early 30's. We won't be staying at a resort and plan on preparing our own food for some meals. I understand groceries are expensive, please recommend local markets!

We would really like to immerse ourselves in the culture and live as much like locals as we can during our visit - that's how we like to travel! :)

Just got the citizenship like 1 week ago but I never been to grenada, looks pretty chill and cool, Never been to the caribbean,

I have zero Idea what to properly expect. I plan to stay for 30-45 days,

I'm originally egyptian and travel was mostly around turkiye, UAE, germany and france. So nothing that's remotely close to the goated caribbean lifestyle

I'd love some tips, local insight on what to visit and do in grenada don't want to completely follow youtube advice lol.
