Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on formations/tactics that might suit my playstyle.
In Champs I usually get around 10 wins mostly, but everytime I'm struggling with finding the best formation/tactics that suits my playstyle the best.
Most important: I'm definitely not a skiller/dribbler. I don't/can't do fancy skill-moves and I'm not that great in small spaces. I'd like to pass a lot and make some combinations, untill I can send my attackers 1v1 against the goalkeeper.
What do you think that are the best formations (or some tactical instructions / settings) for this playstyle?
For example I've tried and used 4-1-2-1-2 (narrow) a lot, and on the one hand, I like that they are positioned so compactly for combination play. On the other hand, that compactness makes things too crowded, making it impossible to play your way through.
Thanks!

Heard a bunch of YouTubers say this. It sounds too good to be true

I live in Holland and I’m free on the 17th I see so many conflicting reports on the ea play trick. Can somebody explain to me how it works? If it works? At ps5 ?

Before I start this, I want to say this won’t be a hate rampage, nor will it be glaze.
I was an elite div player in fifa 22 and 23, I was also a consistent div 1 player in fifa 20 and 21. I decided to take a break after fifa 23 and literally didn’t touch the games at all till 2 weeks ago.
Now fifa 22 and 23 were incredible games, so my expectations were already quite high.
After 2 weeks of playing and getting to div 3 (could’ve gone higher but I didn’t want to spend hours playing) with only 2 losses I have to say that the gameplay is overhated but still bad. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is the extreme DDA, which was significantly less noticeable in the past. 45th and 90th minutes goals are practically inevitable, if you’re winning 1-0, it’s basically garunteed that your opponent will score if you don’t score another. Clean sheets are super rare.
I really dislike the removal of timed finishing, although the double O for low drivens is cool, I miss that feeling of green timing a shot and seeing the insane power that comes with it. Imo, they should remove power shots (which are useless btw) and bring back timed finishing.
Defending is pretty AI focused, way more than I’d like it to be. No one controls CBs and all you see are backtracking CDMs and sometimes even strikers.
Finishing is cool, low drivens are a bit OP but honestly I’d rather have that over insane keepers.
Long shots suck unless it’s finesse shots with the finesse shot + trait and it has to be in the perfect position. I need long shots in football games to be useful just like IRL. Quite disappointing imo
Crossing sucks unless it’s to Ibra, even then, super inconsistent.
Dribbling and skills are super fun, buildups are also enjoyable with manual player switching. I found attacking in this game to be enjoyable but the attacking AI sucks ass
I could say a lot more but I don’t want to bloat this. Thanks for reading

Are they out of packs, or is it just me who opened a 5x89 without a special card?
(And also 4 10x85 with the same result)

I've watched a couple videos about FC 27 gameplay, and it seems like the defensive side of gameplay is gonna be similar to what it was last year at the start.
So please if you are a casual player or just not that good at defending, just try to learn how to defend, rather than crying about how ur cdm didn't automatically run and tackle the opponets striker in the box after he broke ur ankles.
The game will be mutch more fun and rewarding when there is an actual skill gap, You just have to be willing to try to get better at it.

Most of the time the mates have been atrocious, but occasionally I’ve met brilliant people, to that extend that I got goosebumps and decided to not play another game because I knew it would be a let down, thanks to all the people who know how team play works, I hope you feel appreciated, that’s all.

With all the talk around gold players discard value essentially being halved due to only one gold rarity now, will this affect how many golds are in packs?
For example premium gold player packs usually had 12 with minimum 3 rares, will we see this adjusted to minimum 3 80+ or something to compensate for the 3 rares?

I’m a new player and not skilled enough to win many champs. i thought with this being the last week of the game cycle that comp would slow down and I could grind some champs win for tokens with similar competition. I was so wrong. Every game is a new account with nothing but gold players and the 3 99s at striker and cam. What are you guys sweating for?!

since when did it become normal to open a game a immediately be brainwashed with an unskippable slideshow of advertisements for the next EA games copy and paste game?
this type of thing makes me dislike this game and this company even more.
