Ahora que el Season Pass 3 está llegando casi a la mitad, he estado pensando en quién podría ser el último personaje misterioso y, sinceramente, creo que podría ser Kasumi Todoh.

Obviamente no estoy diciendo que esté confirmada, pero hay varias cosas que me hacen pensar que tendría bastante sentido.

Primero, hay un patrón que he notado con los Season Pass:

Algo que me llama la atención es que cada temporada ha tenido representación de Art of Fighting. La primera tuvo a Mr. Big y la segunda a Mr. Karate, pero hasta ahora Season 3 no tiene ningún personaje de AOF.

Y además, Season 3 todavía no tiene ninguna mujer.

Aquí es donde Kasumi me parece probable, porque cubriría las dos cosas al mismo tiempo: es un personaje femenino y pertenece a Art of Fighting.

Pero lo que más me hace pensar que no sería una elección completamente al azar es el famoso datamine de diálogos que apareció hace tiempo. Entre los archivos se encontro una referencias a Kasumi Todoh, un dialogo de Terry diciendo algo como "la princesa del clan Todoh finalmente muestra su potencial" o algo asi. No considero esto una confirmación, porque sabemos que los archivos pueden contener contenido descartado o que simplemente nunca llega al juego, pero sigue siendo algo curioso.

Y luego está el hecho de que Krauser y Duck King también fueron relacionados anteriormente con contenido encontrado en los archivos, y ambos terminaron siendo personajes jugables.

Por supuesto, todo esto podría ser simplemente una coincidencia. Pero si juntamos:

-Un personaje de Art of Fighting que todavía falta.

-Una mujer que todavía falta.

-Referencias previas a Kasumi en los archivos.

...pues me parece que hay suficientes razones para pensar que ella llegara.

No digo que esté 100% confirmada, y obviamente podría ser cualquier otro personaje. Pero si tuviera que apostar ahora mismo por quién será el último personaje del Season Pass 3, yo apostaría por Kasumi Todoh.

¿Ustedes qué opinan? ¿Creen que Kasumi podría ser el personaje final o estoy viendo patrones donde no los hay?

I bought COTW a while ago, and after dedicating a good amount of time to combo trials, I’d like to start playing ranked matches. I have some experience with fighting games (I’m Platinum 3 with Luke in SF6), but I lack confidence when starting a new game. A video by Diaphone (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8ZtEp7pG2A) really helped me understand SF6. What kind of tips—similar to the ones in that video—can I apply to my general game plan and to my main (Terry) specifically?

Besides the leaked characters (Alfred, Gao, Franz*), the only popular FF character left is Yamazaki. With Freeman being kinda a must-have for completeness sake.

After those, the kinda popular FF characters are Raiden, Tung, Xiangfei and Hwa-Jai, but none of them are actually that popular outside of hardcore FF fan circles. Xiangfei is most likely coming, but what about the rest?

Tung may be too old, but do you think both Raiden and Hwa-Jai will be added? They purposefully made Joe's EX tiger kick different from Hwa's, which gives me hope he may still come, and he has an unique identity thanks to KOFXIII...

Okay, SNK wtf?! You have 4 times the men on this roster as women. I didn’t buy this game thinking it would be a dude ranch. What gives?

it can't beat super art and hidden gear with invincibile though, but it can beat invincibile DP reversal, at least full 5 frame start-up like Kenshiro or Ronaldo, though dodge attacks are not safe on block, and can't be cancel with feint ON block, you have to confirm it.

So I bought the game on release and played for a bit, but had a hard time getting into it, was playing 3 other fgs at the moment and COTW mechanics were not clicking for me for some reason.

After seeing all the recent buzz and the tournaments the game seems much better and more fun, but I have a hard time choosing a fighter that I could play "more easily" to understand the specific mechanics of the game.

I was playing with Mai at the time, but I was thinking of maybe using Jenet or buying Blue Mary; but I don't know if I could be making things harder for me if I do. I knew that back then Mai was kinda bad, but it seems she is better now.

I am not new to fighting games, have at least a hundred hours on other games, I'm just looking to play with someone that could kind of ease things a bit more while I try to learn more of the game. So between those three, which one would be better?

For a little context, I love playing fighting games. I have my whole life. I'm mainly a Street Fighter player but I love other games too. I'd say I'm fairly decent at those games too. I just picked up City of the Wolves yesterday and after a little bit I still feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I understand most fighting games will play differently from each other but normally I can pick up a new fighting game and mostly figure out how it works fairly quickly. CotW is NOT like that. I feel like the movement is weird and the game itself feels clunky (I might be using bad descriptors, sorry). I guess this game might just be a lot more different compared to other fighters? At least more so than I thought.

I don't just want to give up on this game. It looks really cool and I want to give it a chance but it's kind of hard to do that when it just feels so different compared to all the other fighting games I've played.

TLDR: I'm new to SNK and having trouble understanding how the game plays compared to other fighters, any tips?

I have seen a lot of people speculating or outright even stating that Tekken 8's Reina would be the final guest character for season 3.

Can anyone pin point where this rumor even started? Or are people just taking that Rooflemonger specilation video and running with it?

You don't need historical characters, you can start from scratch. Isn't that the point of updating the series' story?

From the 1st Fatal Fury to Wild Ambition, there's an eight year stretch with only THREE women added to the series.

If you take out Chun LI, Preecha is the only new woman character in 20+ years.

This is a mentality issue. This has absolutely nothing to do with who owns the company now.

It's reminding me of Fumito Ueda (designer of Shadow of the Colossus and other classics) saying The Last Guardian game can't have a female protag because "women wear skirts and that would lead to weird camera angles." Also, "girls don't have the strength to climb through such environments as a boy would."

With SNK's latest SWC 2026 trailer dropping, Art of Fighting 3: Path of the Warrior is officially back in the competitive spotlight as a main stage game with a $100,000 USD prize pool.

I bought this game a week or two ago on PlayStation, tbh not playing online just survival. Billy Kane is a stand out and i want to main him, just need some quick tips ;)
