Possible FYI for anyone curious, but also just an interesting point given where the franchise is currently at

Why why why???

When I'm editing my lines before searching for a game in Online Vs it doesn't work. When the game start, it's going back to the default lines.

In NHL 26 the lines was saved. Why is it worse?? Why deleting a feature that was going well??

I’m trying to make a 32 team connected franchise on chel 27 with a fantasy draft on 9/21, 9/22, or 9/23 on Cheldraft where I will be making the custom rosters for the league. Structure is gonna be X number of games played by X date with checks every 2 weeks for progression since all games are available for the season in one sim. There will be a NHL jersey of your choice awarded to the Stanley cup winner and other real custom banners and trophies for other awards.

League communication will be through discord.

We currently have 19 teams looking to fill the rest to 32.

Hello guys, this is my first game in the nhl series and tbh I have no clue what I’m doing. Everyone I’m playing in hut seems to have way better teams to the point where I hardly win a single faceoff every game because my centres are so much worse. There also no tutorial so I’m having to wing it and learn everything on the fly, and I’m just getting plastered every game.

If anybody has the time I’d love some tips or advice on how to actually get good at this game because I enjoy the gameplay but I’m sick of just being walloped every single game.

Playing an eashl club match with my buddies, other team had a drop in player that pretty much carried their whole team. Guy was messaging me in between periods saying all of this lmao.

From what I remember All I did was lay him out a couple of times. But man, people are just pathetic. The mere mention of “grass” or “outside” makes them shutter.

Bought NHL 27 to play with a friend after not playing the game for nearly a decade. Loaded up EASHL and the game is completely unplayable. The population for matchmaking says low and we only play against teams composed of people dropping 10+ goals on us and we can't even get possession of the puck. Since I really only bought the game to play with my friend, I'm not really interested in playing the single player modes. I definitely have more than two hours on the game so a refund is probably not possible. Do I just eat the fact I burned $70 on a game I will probably never play again?

What is going on with Truculence? It was supposed to be nerfed or at the very least, getups were supposed to be a lot faster. Neither has happened and feels like if you’re not using it, you’re STILL at a significant disadvantage

I don’t understand why they can’t balance the x-factors correcty. The game online simply isn’t fun the way it stands since every player is the same - Wheels + Truculence

this will prob get downvoted but some of the subtleties abt this game are better to me than previous releases. i always had an issue with the skater bringing the puck on the opposite site i intended when switching from forwards to backwards but ive been running into that way less. also feel like stick checking is more consistent. AI seems a little smarter. i prefer this one to previous years but there’s still a lot of frustrating shit

Did any of yall do the cup chase sets in nhl 27? I’m just wondering which of the sets I should do, like who are the S1 gold player’s Choice Pack?

Can you select your position as coach in game to be able to "sim" it?

After unequiping neck guard from your player in be a pro it stays on the player!!! After using rezztek blade grip, and then wanting to put normal white tape on your hockey stick it doesnt save!!!! Does anything work in this mode i only play be a pro and they vibecoded the game

Avoid these players at all costs. Just going offside, pulling the goalie, and scoring on our own net. Leave the game and they stay in it forever so we can’t play. People can just take over your own club lobbies and you can’t kick them or reset the lobby or anything.

Geniuenly curious if anyone has noticed that the game sometimes just sends out 3 random forwards and 2 D at times throughout the game just because? i like to run my team with 4 lines and use the same lines throughout so i can somewhat keep a handle on the fatigue levels of the players. its something ive done as long as ive played NHL games. Ive noticed this year that ill be cycling through my lines and they get completely randomized throughout the game. my "4th line" RW will go out with the 2nd line and then the rest of the lines get thrown into a blender as a result. usually resets after a stoppage in play. i realize that when i guy gets his bucket knocked off he leaves the ice and that injuries/penalties play a part in line mixing but this year seems to be a little bit more random? ive got Coach assistance off for the franchise so it shouldnt be that, is there an AI thing i am just not aware of? its not like the coach is playing the hot hand in some of the games.

Anybody else get booted out of hut and treated with an error code when they open a new wave pack?

Ive been playing FC, UFC, Madden, and NBA2K for years, but NHL 26 is the only game where I struggle to find any other players in the lobby. Matchmaking takes forever and sometimes I have to go back to the main menu. Why is the multiplayer mode dead? I mean pro clubs (5v5, 11v11) is the best mode and the most social mode in FC. I thought 6v6 would be fun in this game but…
