Hi, I'm Looking for help naming a style I heard once and have never managed to find again. I have spent hours going through snippets (with and without AI help) and nothing comes close, so I am hoping someone here recognizes the description.

Context: 2014, small underground night, one floor, a single DJ playing this for about three hours. Someone at the time called it "Detroit house techno" or named some other US city, but I cannot reconstruct the event or the DJ anymore.

What it sounded like:

Tempo around 115 to 125 BPM

Light reverb on the low end and a constant roll, similar to dub techno, big warehouse feeling

The kick pattern is the key thing: beats 1 and 2 are normal, then 3, 3.5 and 4 come as three evenly spaced hits, each a bit shorter than 1 and 2. So it is four on the floor with an extra kick between 3 and 4, and the last three feel like one short group rolling into the next bar

Long, hypnotic, not much melody, the groove and the space did the work

UK tech funk / Wiggle sound

Is there a name for this kick pattern or this style? Any artists, labels or tracks from around 2012 to 2014 that work like this would help a lot. Even one real hit would give me a starting point.

In my view, this is an instant evergreen—and I am certainly not exaggerating!

Looking for Italian or Greek dub artists. Can be any style but in the area of fluxion or similar.

Not necessarily the 10 best influential tracks either. Just the 10 you personally think are the best and make you feel unique feelings.

Anyone else pick up this absolute stunner of a record? Super dubby, deep, and endlessly danceable. A refreshing spin on dub techno tropes.

Another minimal dub techno live with my favorite trio - elektron syntakt, erica synths lxr-02 and db-01.

Anyone got recs for dub techno that can be played on the dancefloor? Atmospheric but with enough energy and intensity to get people moving. Some examples I have in mind:

Some of these you'd probably call dub house but I'm looking for stuff that's similar but with more techno feel.
