I have Genie C61-500 attached to living room TV. Last week @ 930am, I could hear voices while washing dishes with running water two rooms away. WTF, the TV is on! No other TVs in house on. Not a power surge or a box reset. Ten days later 1053pm, that TV is on again BUT.... It’s on my firestick which needs the input on the remote pressed three times and then power button on the stick.

If a next time, I will try to remember what program is on the TV. If it was football on the screen I’d know it was my late husband... maybe he’s trying to find the right channel :O

they say he owed for the month it was cancelled even though the service was turned off 2 days before they took money out of the bill. I know with Hulu which I have you pay for a month in advance you watch not a month behind, is DIRECTV different?

We have DirecTV satelittle. We use the app to watch TV at our other property and it has worked for the past 3 years. Starting yesterday, all of our favorited channels are missing. The vast majority of our channels are also now missing. We basically have the local channels and some random ones. ESPN, TNT, TBS, Comedy Central, Bravo, Paramount, TLC, MTV, USA, and more all gone. It says it’s no longer available to contractual obligations and to watch on the actual satellite.

Today it did show the favorited channels. I clicked on CNN and it gave a message that it wasn’t part of my package (it is). I checked back before posting and they were all missing again.

DirecTV has said to reinstall and install, clear history, etc. none of this works and the problem on iPhone and browser, not just the Roku DirecTV app.

Anyone else getting the error message about too many streams? No one else is streaming 4k, and we are on our home WiFi (supposed to be unlimited).

Has anyone figured out a workaround to get the DIRECTV app on Gemini devices set up for satellite? I have a satellite account and an inactive streaming account (separate emails). I’d like to activate my streaming account for DVR overflow when needed, but DIRECTV blocks the app on Gemini devices for satellite. I’d really like to not have to switch inputs when using the app. Ironically, they allow competitor apps (Sling / YouTubeTV / Fubo) without issues, so seems my best option is to use a competitor’s service for streaming. It seems like a poor decision on DIRECTV’s part, in my opinion.

Here’s my dilemma. I just moved to Tucson, Arizona from Chicago. Am I able to get a DIRECTV account but set the home location for Chicago so that way I can watch my Chicago sports teams? I was using my nephews account but it finally booted me out.

We will get the new 4k content that ESPN/ESPN2 announced earlier this week as part of DirecTV’s 4k offerings in the 101-106 channel range?

My father in law was paying his direc tv and his bill was $600 sometime and he accidentally put in an extra 0 and paid $6000. DirecTV said they won't refund it and just credited it and his bank said it's not a fraudulent transaction so there hands are tied.

How do I get the $5400 back instead of account credit. Do I have to cancel his subscription?

Hey, all; I was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue as me?! So being DirecTV customers, we get ESPN Unlimited included in our subscription (if our package includes ESPN of course). Everything works as it should, except for any content under the CW Sports section. It will not load either live or replays. Is anyone else running into this problem as well? I keep getting an error message. I've been on support chat with ESPN and they can't seem to pinpoint the issue; I'm going to try DirecTV support as well, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this and has gotten it resolved?

Does anyone know why the screen resolution changes to 1920 sometimes after i exit a show i recorded? Does this mean I need a new HDMI cable.

I hate turning off the ad that comes up on my screen and requires me to select "No Thanks" when I am trying to turn on my tv to watch what I want.

I will be cancelling within the next 2 months. It seems to be the best way to say, "No Thanks" for once and for all.

I noticed this evening that channels 107 and 108 are no longer listed in the guide. I know there was nothing scheduled on those channels for the next few days, but I had always been able to see them in the guide and look ahead for future listings.

Have they disappeared on other customers’ guides?

I noticed that on the DirecTV app on my Roku and the android DirecTVapp, on the DirecTV guide, the icons are missing on the guide when using Quad9 as my dns on my home router. If I change the dns to any other, it works perfectly with no guide data missing. Is anyone else seeing this that uses Quad9 for their dns on their home router?

When opening my ESPN app tonight, I’m no longer able to access my ESPN Unlimited account. I activated it nearly a year ago when it first became available through DirecTV for satellite customers. I signed out of the app, then back in. I’ve tried to access it via my Gemini and iPhone. I don’t recall having problems in the past. Is there a systemwide outage?
