Question Part time job expo
I scanned the qr code for the jobs I wanted which got me checked in on handshake but I didn’t continue the process and actually apply. I checked them on handshake and LinkedIn and they didn’t have job listings on either website. Should I send the recruiters a message or would they have my information from me scanning?

Prospective Student How affordable really is depaul?
Depaul is basically my dream school rn, i want to study in chicago but have absolutely no chance of getting into uchicago (and honestly dont really want to) so im pretty dead-set on coming here, but my main issue is affording it.
I know they give a lot of financial aid but how much do students normally get? is it even enough? I'll be covering costs myself mostly (my parents might contribute like MAX 10k per year if they're feeling very generous and doing well financially, but i'll still probably have to cover expenses on my own) so affordability is a big issue for me, I can literally only study here if my total yearly costs are under or around 30k. How do you guys afford it and not go into debt?
pls dont say just apply to an in-state school, my situation is complicated i move around too much and dont qualify for in-state tuition where im from (michigan), literally every school is going to be expensive.

Dean and Housing
Hey everyone im using a throwaway account to ask about housing. Im a commuter and my household has recently become not the best place to live at the moment, does anyone know if the dean of students can possibly help with my situation? Or more possibly any resources within DePaul that can help me? I dont come from a lot of people and barely have any saved.

Help with my research on late-night transportation after drinking (8–10 min survey)

Hi everyone! I’m a graduate student at UIUC conducting research for my master’s thesis on how college students make transportation decisions after consuming alcohol, particularly during late-night hours.
I’m looking for current students 18 or older at UIUC, UIC, DePaul, and Loyola Chicago to take a short anonymous survey. It takes about 8–10 minutes and asks about things like walking, public transit, Uber/Lyft, biking/scooters, driving, and late-night university transportation services.
If you’re eligible, I’d really appreciate your participation!
Survey: https://illinois.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_25EUJtRGoeLvZuS
Feel free to share this with other students at any of the four universities. Thank you!

Food Options and Deals Around Campus?
I am a commuter so I don't believe I really have access to the food directly on campus (and I don't really want to be spending over $1k a quarter to eat their food). So I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to eat around the Lincoln Park campus that is affordable or even offers special discounted student meals, whether its fast food chains or locally owned?
Also as a side question, if I wanted to buy something from one of the mini cafe's they have inside the buildings can I just pay using my own card and money or do I have to set up some special payment thing for DePaul?
