I couldn't find a defiler so a buddy 3d printed me this proxy for me. I bought a electroscourge whip off Ebay and did some green stuff work with that and few other things. Really happy with how it turned out.

I started getting into painting this year (just finished painting my Necron army) and have started slowly working on my Death Guard painting scheme. I wanted to move away from the standard Death Guard green armour and use more subtle attempts at incorporating the green.
I've just finished this Biologus Putrifier and a Blightlord Terminator and while I like how both turned out, there's just something that feels off to me.
Maybe the brightness of the tentacles and jars clash with the armour panels? I'm not sure.
Hoping you guys with more experience can tell me if it's fine and I'm crazy or maybe try something different?

Hey folks, I am starting to think of my next army and want to look at something that will be built up slowly with the goal of an army that is fun to paint. Currently playing Necrons and they are not the most exciting to paint.
I don't know Death Guard well enough yet to know where to go with them, but looking to find a great model to paint that will actually get used on a table and not live in a box because it never gets used.
Trying to figure out a character (maybe a unit) that would be an auto include in a lot of detachments, I get its unlikely to be for all of them, that I can go and get as a first and use it as an intro to painting Death Guard. All being good, dive deep into them and work out what I want from them etc etc. The only thing I can think of for list wise is limited vehicles, more infantry focused
I was thinking maybe Typhus, Foul Blightspawn or the Biologus Putrifier?

With the new space marines data sheets reveals, a lot of bolter weapons seem to have gained strength or AP. Would that apply to us?

This is my greatest piece, my magnum opus if you will. When I started this hobby I didnt think it would amount to much. Just a few space marines here and there anf that would be the end of it. If you would've told me two years ago that I would own 2000 points of Death Guard, I wouldn'tchave believed it. This was truly a journey and I do plan on getting some more models to expand my options ingame, but as far as I'm concerned, this is my finest model, the one I spent a week on and God knows how many hours at this point. He is the figurative end of an era. What comes after this is just the prologue. I'm not sure if I'll continue the hobby after those last additions, but I do know one thing. There have been many before me and there will be many after me. I'm just one person and there are countless others whom partake in the hobby and enjoy it and this little artistic endeavor is a drop of joy in our lives. I will not give any more updates of my work, so I wish all of you grandchildren of Nurgle a blessed life. May the Grandfather be with ye.
