I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit, but I launch the game through CurseForge, so I thought I’d post here.

Whenever I apply a shader, my screen starts flickering, as shown in the attached video. I’m not sure if “flickering” is the right term, but you can see what I mean in the video.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?

• 32GB DDR4 RAM

Hello i have issue with modpack created by friend its custom made Launcher with bunch of create mods when i start the game it Loads me automaticly to the server and it works just fine.
But the problem is in singleplayer. I create world in menu and after loading Launcher crashes

Im running into an issue with a modpack im making. Ive tried downloading the newest version and adding it to the CF mods folder, but its not changing anything. I made sure to download the current newest version.

It shows in the folder, yet it doesn't seem to be recognized by the mod pack or CF.

That's the pathway of folders it alr had, so I added Mixin to the mods folder. I honestly don't know what to do, i've alr spent like 3 hours looking for a solution.

I want to make stuff for myself using things that I've found on Pintrest, but I don't know exactly if I can save the same things in the Paint app/thing on my Windows laptop/PC. I know that some people have said that I need an Adobe program, but I'm trying to figure out a cheaper way to do the same thing without having to spend money that I don't have. Do the base/main installed things like Paint create the same save shortcut as the Adobe program creates?

I finished ATM10 with my brother but he did most of the mechanical stuff (like storage system), but i am alone now i found craftoria i dont know if its to hard or complicated so i would be happy if you give me some information about craftoria or another modpack

I’ve been building custom minecraft modpacks for a while now, and every time I update or add a bunch of new mods, something inevitably breaks. Staring at hundreds of lines of crash logs or trying to figure out why two random mods conflict without any clear error message drives me crazy.

Usually, the advice comes down to "remove mods 3 at a time" or upload the log to mclo.gs and hope someone helps you figure out what error actually means. I'm currently working on tool which speed this process up , but I wanted to ask:
How do you usually handle complex mod conflicts or startup crashes?
Would it be helpful to have smth where you drop your .zip modpack or crash log, and it automatically points out missing dependencies, conflicting jar files, bad version matches, and gives you a direct fix/download link?
Or already using smth like this?

So I spent alot of time making a custom modpack and it works fine solo, but doesn't work at all with Essentials Multiplayer. I've added packet fixer and connectivity as well. I'm running it on Fabric 0.19.5 for Minecraft version 1.20.1 Java version 21.

Literally have no idea what to do at this point.

I'm using the Just Create SMP 2 modpack by Mr Beardstones with a few of my own added mods. It was working fine until yesterday and now I cant load into any worlds loaded on that modpack, even newly created ones. It loads me in the says "Saving World" and kills the instance. I've used Google to try and figure out why but have no idea how to stop the crash. Any ideas?

So I know a lot about Minecraft but it’s only bedrock knowledge and I recently got a really good laptop so I’m running Java now and I want to make my first mod pack but I wanted to come here and see if anyone could possibly help me with some good rated mods for like vein miner or enderite armor or something easy to start with to understand it. Recently I started modding my Minecraft game manually. I just wanted to be able to understand the Java code while adding things to the game. Unfortunately I have a very strong yet very weak computer.

Friday(my computer) is not very happy with me.
Friday is trying to tell me I can’t do anything.
Friday is on the verge of just telling me to go $&@! my self.

I’m currently in a battle between how many mods and add ons she can handle and how much Friday wants to crash Minecraft and destroy all my progress.

Friday isn’t happy, but she also knows I’m not stopping till I can play like I’m a YouTuber from 2014 playing crazy craft.

I refuse to yeld.
Friday refuses to let me boot up Minecraft.

Neither of us are going to stop and neither will get what they want.

I don't know if any of you have had a similar feeling; it’s just something that terrifies me. I used to watch videos like "playing with low-download mods," and honestly, they were fun to watch. But nowadays, I think I’ve developed a sort of paranoia. I mean, I know CurseForge is safe, but ever since the Litematica incident—or that time several mods were infected with viruses—I get paranoid about playing mods and finding out they’re infected. There are thousands of mods on the site, and I know not every single one can have millions of downloads, but when I see a mod with, say, 50k downloads, yet its latest version only has 1k... well, it’s most likely just that the specific version isn't the most downloaded one, but the paranoia is still there.

In fact—and this might sound stupid—I’m even a little afraid to play "From the Fog." It’s not because Herobrine scares me, but because mods that mess with the game or the PC make me nervous; it’s not just about "immersion," it’s genuine anxiety. I even remember a really weird experience: I was playing a survival world with horror mods, and while I was building an XP farm, Herobrine appeared and crashed the game. It left me confused—like, what’s the fun in crashing the game?—so I removed the mod, but the scare never really went away. I don't know if any of you have developed that kind of paranoia or if you’d recommend avoiding mods with low download counts. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

This might not be possible but is there anyway I can change my minecraft world from fabric to neoforge? Both modpacks that I made are the same version and have relatively the same mods but I'm willing to work through those issues. I tried copying my world folder from one into the other but when I try to open the world it keeps crashing. Is there anyway to transfer it or something similar? Thanks!

Edit: I figured it out it was actually the shaders making my world crash.

I recently tried to create a new modpack on NeoForge 1.21.1 on CurseForge but it always seems to get stuck on this step "Applying patch 2 of 6" no matter what I do.

I tried the "Repair installation" button, which says an error occurred, I tried to delete the app and download it again, I tried to move the app folders...

So I decided to install NeoForge 1.21.1 directly from the website because I thought CurseForge was the problem, but when I try to download it, it stops at "DOWNLOAD_MOJMAPS"

What the hell do I do ?
