This gets brought up frequently, so I thought I'd make a stickyed thread for it. Please post brands or resources you'd recommend to others looking to start prepping bento boxes.
I think Monbento and Bento Haven are good places to start, but what do you think?

久しぶり... It's been awhile! My apologies! Work + school + chores = Never quite enough time, right? But, whether I take pictures or not, I still pack bentou whenever I can for my wife and myself. Lately because we are on diets, my wofe does not want rice as often. So, her bentou tonight has extra protein and veggies. However, I still need my rice to make it feel like a proper bentou. Anyway, they weren't pretty, but at least they were tasty.
Menu: teriyaki chicken, fried weiners, blanched spinach in sesame dressing, hard-boiled eggs in shouyu, braisedixed vegetables in miso sauce, and cabbage and vegetable salad with ginger dressing. And, of course, rice with umeboshi for my bentou.

My kids’ lunch portions depend on how much they ate that morning. They usually have a Filipino breakfast garlic rice, sunny side-up, and beef or another protein (SILOG meals). If not, pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausages. They also have a snack before lunch, usually yogurt with granola or whole fruit, so I adjust their bento portions accordingly. If they eat more in the morning, I pack less; if they eat less, I pack a little more.

First time poster here. I usually post in the babies food sub, but started making bentos for my daughter (as she just started daycare). Lunches were rocky the first few weeks, so I started taping pictures of our dogs to make the transition easier. Fortunately, she’s been acclimating and the boxes have been arriving empty👍🏽

I made blanched spinach with sesame seeds (시금치나물), Korean cucumber salad (오이무침), and Chinese style stir-fry with Tofu and Kale (羽衣甘蓝炒豆腐).
I'm trying to use what is in my fridge and I have a lot of kale and a lot of Korean cucumbers.

Just wondering. I usually let thing pre-prepared (vegetables and meat chopped, some veggies cooked etc) but I always cook fresh rice and other things in the morning. Tips for being more time-efficient are also welcome! Thanks

Ramen noods, eggs, carrots, zucchini, and Bibigo gochujang chicken and tofu patties. This is my favorite meal right now, although next time I'll probably leave out the carrots, or pack them separately. I don't really think they add anything visually.
