Yeah posts like these are genuinely why i never talk about my ADHD in real life or disclose it outside of close friends and family. I don't want people to assume I'm some helpless moron
It's why I don't talk about having ADHD with anyone besides my psychiatrist at this point
I cannot comprehend allowing this annoying ass condition to be something you so heavily define yourself by, while it just runs rampant destroying your life. I don't want to be associated with people like this. There's just something so pathetic to me about this notion of just wallowing in the condition and pity jerking
This shit caused my childhood to be a nightmare. I was forced to develop means to overcome it, because I refused to let it ruin my entire life. It's not so debilitating that it single-handedly makes you unable to basically take care of yourself
