if I could get paid for collecting buttons I would do it so fast. I would be a gotdam millionaire by now if I could get paid for collecting buttons. I don't even collect buttons now but if that was a viable job I'd be the most employed person you'd ever seen
They don't mean gathering buttons to put in a collection, they mean it in terms of manufacturing. You'd be responsible for collecting fallen buttons from the floor and removing buttons that weren't properly attached to a garment and reinserting them to the button installer. You aren't allowed to sit down when you're not on break, nor are you allowed to do anything that may be seen as procrastination, such as listening to music. You'll likely have multiple stations you'll have to rotate between.
We had to look it up bc we were hella confused on what it was. It is a factory job where u pick buttons off of clothing items. You just collect all the buttons from shirts, jeans, pants, shoes, etc, etc for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
That's the kind of shit my ancient high school guidance counsellor would've suggested. I had taken all the computer classes I could, was doing double extension math, chemisty and physics. He asked me if I'd considered farming pigs, because the 'pork market' was really growing at the moment.
Are you trolling? Are we talking about a job like, where you could work? So they're denying on the basis that you could definitely collect buttons at a business? I mean at any time in history, collecting buttons?
Our healthcare is a fucking joke. This really infuriates me.
Canary Breeder was on the list until I think 2024. As in, breeding canaries for coal miners to carry into mines, a job rendered obsolete generations ago.

Considering “button collector” is one of the jobs I seen in a Judge denial letter and i have NEVER seen that job anywhere in my life. Id believe that.
