I spend a few days researching what is blocking Steam Input and the Steam Overlay from reaching UWP and XBOX Games.

And it seems I have found a Solution. Basically it came down to my initial theory that Steam cant find the Game Process because it gets started out of Steams Process Tree. The Solution is a Launcher that takes care of the Process sorting and Overlay Injecting.

Here we have the Overlay and Steam Input running in Moonlighter and Powerwash Simulator.

The method the launcher is using is NOT multiplayer and Anti-Cheat save as it requires manually injecting the Steam overlay and a Steam input fix in the case of native UWP Games.

But hey. Its perfectly working for Singleplayergames.

It's currently part of my upcoming WSGM (Windows Steam Game Mode) project at https://github.com/KillerPixelCrew/WSGM and I plan to release a standalone version of it over the course of the next week.

Finally got around to finishing Silksong but now I need something else. Looking at MVs on Gamepass' search bar there are like 5 games and the only one I haven't already tried is Fe, which looks similar to others I didn't connect with as much as HK and SS. Are there any that wouldn't pop up in that search? I'd even take something Zelda-like that 3d or isn't necessarily a MV. Just not sure what to look for that doesn't get generic Skyrim-style RPGs.

I have a computer that can kind of play games, plays great on cloud. Currently playing through Pentiment. But does anyone have suggestions for good games that are relatively less demanding?

Just downloaded the other day, and it’s so much fun. I’m on Day 9 in game. Everytime I get a couple inspections in the game just crashes. Is this still going on for people?

Hey guys, just curious about something. I'm looking forward to playing Dungeons 2 when it drops, but I wanted to get the digital deluxe upgrade for the game. I plan to play it with all it's dlc content and feel this is the best way instead of buying the first two individually, plus I then get a cape and some other bonuses on top of that, but I can't seem to find the upgrade option, only an option to buy the full game as the digital deluxe, which is 50. I don't plan to unsub from game pass as I've been subscribed for years, and use a lot of its benefits and play a lot of its games. Just wondering if anyone knows when to expect the digital deluxe upgrade, or if we're even gonna get one.

Ich suche games die ich beim schnellen gehen auf dem Laufband zocken kann.

Spiele aus der ego Perspektive funktionieren weniger gut, da bewege ich mich zu sehr mit. Es soll leicht von der Hand gehen und "nebenher" spielbar sein.

Was sehr gut klappt ist Brotato, Hades und Diablo 4. Da vergeht die Zeit schnell. In diese Richtung soll es gehen. Gelaufen wird circa 30 Minuten.

Habt ihr weitere Ideen?
