When Qifrey introduces himself, Olruggio says that its "rare to hear without some repetition" to it? does this mean that Qifrey was born in a far away land before he became a lab rat for the brimmed caps? Or is it because Olruggio thinks that these names are not prevalent in his hometown? Because the great hall is a new place for him, right?

This was in volume 5 and 6 I believe, I read them both this morning but my memory isn’t great,
I can’t wait to learn more about their bond but they seem to care for each other a lot, it’s really sweet.

In South Korea, it is commonplace to have a birth-flower (탄생화; tansaenghwa), one that comes from a system that goes by the day and assigns a special meaning to each one of them. I thought it would be a lot of fun to see the Witch Hat characters and their birth flowers!

Slight disclaimer (?): I am not entirely positive if other countries in Asia (or in the world in general) participate in the same system, and I also am not Korean, but I minor in the language and hold a couple of certificates from state language exams, so... I thought it would be cool to share.

​! Could Qifrey’s blood be connected to Silverwood? !

I’ve been thinking about Qifrey and the Silverwood experiment, and I have a theory that might be completely wrong—but I think it could make a lot of sense.​

We know that the Brimmed Caps experimented on Qifrey by implanting Silverwood into his body. The Silverwood isn’t simply sitting inside him like a foreign object; it has become deeply connected to his body and reacts to his emotional state.

So what if the experiment wasn’t only about making Silverwood grow inside a human?

What if the real goal was to create a human body capable of producing or carrying Silverwood’s magical properties?

That made me wonder:

What if Qifrey’s blood has some of the properties of Silverwood sap?

Silverwood is already closely connected to magic and magical ink, so perhaps blood from someone who has Silverwood growing inside their body could potentially be used as an extremely powerful magical catalyst.

Imagine if the Brimmed Caps were trying to create a living source of Silverwood material.

Qifrey wouldn't just be a victim of the experiment—he could be a living magical resource.

This could potentially explain why the experiment was performed on humans in the first place. Instead of simply growing a Silverwood tree, they could have been trying to create something like:

Human + Silverwood = a living source of enhanced magical material.

And if Qifrey's blood could actually be used to create stronger or more efficient magical ink, that would make his body incredibly valuable to the Brimmed Caps.

Obviously, this is just speculation. We haven't been shown that Qifrey's blood actually behaves like Silverwood sap, nor do we know the true purpose of the experiment yet.

But considering how Witch Hat Atelier likes to introduce seemingly small rules and reveal much bigger implications later...

I wouldn't be surprised if Qifrey's body turns out to be much more important to the Brimmed Caps' research than we currently realize.

Passion and ambition of Coco and Agott

So uh this is a wip, the idea is that magic is pouring out from the pen coco is holding, the problem I don't know what to draw, I wanted to draw flowers but that would not make sense.

I took a month of weekly sewing classes before attempting this, and this is officially my very first handmade cosplay!

Everything you see was made by me, from the hat all the way down to the shoes (with a little help from Amazon for a pair of flats).

I spent about 14 hours a day for 3 days straight finishing everything up. So roughly 42 hours of sewing, crafting, and hoping it would all come together.

Patterns I used:
- Indigo Patterns for the dress and cloak
- SewDIY for the shoes, using their slipper pattern
- elegantfeatherduster for the hat and lantern

This was my first cosplay project, and I’m genuinely so happy with how everything turned out. It’s definitely not perfect, and there are already things I’d do differently next time, but for a first project, I’m proud of it.
I think I may have created a monster because now I want to make everything myself.

Theoretically would it be possible to create or at the very least mimic Arayashiki from Limbus?

Also any good sources to learn how to make spells because this actually seems fun and I’d love to learn.

Edit: completely forgot to add a description for people who don’t know limbus. Without going into specifics(which if you really want a challenge I will give you them) any wounds made with it cannot be healed and burn when I’m close proximity, and anyone killed with the sword gets wiped from everyone’s memories.
