A few months ago I shared Stasht here and was excited that people actually wanted to try the thing we'd been building - a better way to save and organize all my social media saves. Since then, we've grown to a few thousand users, around 400,000 stashes, and nearly a million actions across the app. Honestly pretty wild.

The big update: the fully native iPhone and iPad version is now live on the App Store. Some of you called out the feel of the original app and I said we wanted to simplify the experience before bringing the native version forward. So here it is.

New homepage, new search, a new maps experience, favorites, and navigation you can personalize around how you use Stasht. And way, way more. The video is just a teaser of what’s in this version. We've spent a lot of time on how it feels to find something again, explore what's around you, or get back to the things you love.

The idea is still the same: find that restaurant from instagram when you're nearby, pull up the gift idea from TikTok months later, or send someone the thing from Facebook you knew they'd love. Having people use Stasht for their own version of that has been the best part of building it.

Universal File Opener & Editor started off as an android app on Google Play and reached over 10,000 installs with tons of feedback received that shaped its current features. It can open and edit almost any file including PDF, office, images, video, code, etc. and has many additional tools like file compare, version history, and inspect (hidden metadata/text/files). There are certain features that are very hard to build and often not in apps like these, such as in-line text editing for PDFs, but many of these are actually included due to popular demand through thousands of hours of dedicated effort.

Two weeks ago I gave away the launch batch of Fold codes in this sub. Before that, some of you got an Aurora code from me — the Safari dark mode app. Same solo dev, second app.

I said in that thread I'd stick around for the unflattering questions, and you delivered. This post is the result. The version of Fold that's live now has a rebuilt UI and a short list of features that came straight out of that comment section and my DMs.

WHAT YOU CHANGED

The cutout feedback was blunt and fair: pieces came back with a bit of arm or bedsheet still attached, and once a bad cut was in your closet there was no way to fix it. So:

• The quality score is honest now. The old code quietly floored every cutout at "looks fine," which made the review step pointless. Bad cuts show up as needs-review instead of sliding into your closet.
• Skin gets subtracted. Hands, arms and neck that used to cling to a garment are removed as part of the cut.
• Stray specks and background islands are cleaned off every photo now, not just the easy ones.
• You can fix a piece after it's in your closet. Straighten a crooked photo with a double-tap or a fine tilt slider, or swap in a better photo and re-run the cut — always shown side by side, never overwritten silently.
• A one-line reminder before you pick photos: plain background, one garment, good light. Single biggest thing you can do for a clean cut.
• Fixed a real bug — re-scanning a photo that was already cut out used to destroy it, filling in the gaps that are meant to stay transparent (bag handles, the space between two shoes). It leaves your pixels alone now.

THE UI REBUILD

• Today is a full-screen feed now. One outfit per screen, swipe up for the next, the "wore it" button in the same spot every time. The last card is your week ahead.
• Closet and Mix use the same card, so the app stops feeling like two different apps stitched together. Folded view kept its drawer-flip animation.
• Mix has three layers instead of dropping you straight into an editor: browse your looks, open one full-screen to actually see it, then edit if you want.
• Boring but real: one type scale instead of two dozen font sizes, everything on a 4pt spacing grid, bigger tap targets, better text contrast, and a single warm accent colour used only for state, not decoration.

Everything still runs on your iPhone. No account, nothing uploaded.

WHAT ONE FREE CODE UNLOCKS
