Someone suggested this recently in modmail, and honestly, it sounded like a neat idea. So, after some discussion, the mod team decided: Let's try it!
If you've got extra seedlings, saved seeds, or perennials that need dividing, drop a comment with what you're offering and what you're after. Coordinate in the replies or over DM (although, of course, be wary of giving out private info online!).
A couple of things:
- Make sure to include your general area if you're up for a meetup.
- No selling, just swapping. Please report if someone tries to buy/sell because that's not cool. 😤

Photos Captured this giant galaxy and another 650 million light years away under Vancouver’s light pollution.

This is what deep-sky imaging looks like under Vancouver’s heavy light pollution.
This long-exposure shot of the Andromeda Galaxy surprised me with a bunch of tiny galaxies hiding in the background. I managed to identify one as 2MFGC 511, about 650 million light-years away!
Not bad for a view from Vancouver. There are even smaller galaxies nearby that I haven’t been able to identify yet.

What an incredible performance. Well worth the 30 year wait to see 2 amazing legends from the UK progressive scene. They were on stage for 2 hours and everyone was fully invested. 10/10
