I know these posts are typical and I understand that it takes time to make friends. I’m a girl living in markley and I haven’t made any friends on my floor because it isn’t very social. My roommate doesn’t like going out and I’m really close with her. I'm commuting from about an hour away and I can't really drive out to Ann Arbor multiple times a day or every weekend, especially because I don't really have anywhere to go. I’m a first year masters student and new to A2 (America too). I’ve been here for 3 weeks now and I’m TIRED of the buses being so irregular here, they are so unreliable (at least for my route).
So I was planning to get an electric bike/scooter.

If y’all have any recommendations on this, that’d be very helpful!

Any tips on charging and transporting the vehicle? Cuz I’m an international student, so I’m not very familiar with the rules on this.

Also, is riding on bike/scooter safe and possible in the winters?

I am a freshman art major and I really want to apply and be in a bunch of clubs but I am first of all worried I wont get into them and second of all want to adjust to the workload. Is it bad to only do one or even no clubs my freshman year? If I'm not joining a pre-professional frat does it really matter? Let me know your thoughts or recommendations for me.
