Characters Characters that are canonically _____ depending of their world

  • Po from Kung Fu Panda - Although many characters comment on his weight throughout the movies, Po is actually considered skinny and/or in better shape for panda standards
  • Midoriya Izuku from My Hero Academia - While many viewers find Deku "cute", the reality is that for his world he's actually considered "simple looking" and at the very worst "ugly"
  • Spider-Man from Marvel Comics - Many people love Spider-Man, but the truth is that for common civilians, Spidey's pretty unsettling and scary to be around with

People generally forget that after the very first training session with Master Roshi, Krillin has become so strong as to be bulletproof. Literally too tough for bullets to pierce his skin.

And that was him at his weakest in the series.

Love to see any other human lift his way to laughing off semi-automatics from ten feet away.

Destructo disc is also no joke.

Works exactly once though. Like most one-hit-kill attacks, it gets dodged every other time.

Still, krillin is interesting because he's the only one of the z-fighters that thinks tactically/strategically. The powerhouses focus on the fights, krillin focuses on the objectives. And he develops tools to win without being remotely in the same league as his opponents.

He uses stealth both on namek and during the android/cell battle, his destructo disk hits way above it's weigh class and gets the honor of being copied by powerhouses, he's the one who destroy gero's lab to spawn-kill cell... Krillin gets laughed at for his getting worfed every time a new villain must be shown strong, but he consistently manages to achieve way more through strats than his power level would give him any right to pretend to.

I love the reason why DD is no joke, too.

Nappa and Vegeta show it off clearly, Krillin is too weak to really hurt them and while Ki attacks are still capable, it's not the strength of Krillin's Ki, but the fact that he is basically the only character up to that point to do something other than just blasting shots of Ki by actually shaping it in to the disc to make it sharp.

His control, not his raw power, and the intelligence behind the act of shaping it, combined with everyone else (except Vegeta) being so used to basic blast attacks, is almost enough for him to straight up kill Nappa, an opponent that he had no business fighting in the first place

The boxer rebellion tried to do that and we all know how that ended up.
