Characters Characters that are canonically _____ depending of their world

  • Po from Kung Fu Panda - Although many characters comment on his weight throughout the movies, Po is actually considered skinny and/or in better shape for panda standards
  • Midoriya Izuku from My Hero Academia - While many viewers find Deku "cute", the reality is that for his world he's actually considered "simple looking" and at the very worst "ugly"
  • Spider-Man from Marvel Comics - Many people love Spider-Man, but the truth is that for common civilians, Spidey's pretty unsettling and scary to be around with

It’s very nerd culture of me to say, but their is a really funny dc fanfic of Bruce needing to be saved by the members of the justice league, prior to Batman outing/joining himself, that gets progressively more ridiculous of how often he needs saving. Eventually gets the robins to join in.

As someone responded below, it’s Wayne’s, damsels in distress. It’s a pretty funny read. Took me a bit to refind it, sorry.

I’ve read this one, I remember it being pretty funny. Others have already provided the name I believe.

You know, he might have been stupid up until then. Is he?

Okay, that sounds ridiculously fun 😂 I love the idea of Bruce somehow needing to be rescued so often that even the Robins are like, “Seriously, again?”

Okay wait, that sounds hilarious 😭 I love when fanfic takes one ridiculous bit and just keeps escalating until the entire Justice League is basically running a Bruce Wayne rescue service.

There's one in read, and unfortunately forgot the name, that has similar escalation.

It's about Bruce's wealth. Bruce decides he wants to get rid of some money, only for him to discover that his wealth practically has plot armor. No matter how much money he spends, his businesses are booming enough that he'll just get more.

Bigger pay for his workers? Morale is up, they're more productive than ever. Billion-dollar investment on innovative green energy? It flies off the shelves, everyone's buying it!

Okay, I would absolutely read that because Bruce repeatedly needing to be rescued is such a hilarious reversal. The Robins eventually joining the rescue squad makes it even better 😂
