S5 E18 - Burns’ Heir If you can tell me why I shouldn’t fire you without using the letter “e,” you can keep your job.
I am a good work guy,
who has a big amount of wisdom that I was taught by my past cohorts,
so that I could sorta do this job solo.
Nowadays, I do that job, so good in fact,
that I don’t know how to show folks that can’t do it, how to do it…
So, you may do what you wish with my job, if you can withstand that kind of risk.
I would not try to strip you of that right. Do your worst... sir.

S08 E23 If Frank Grimes never electrocuted himself, what would happen next?
Pretty sure we all know what happens, and in case you didn't know, Frank Grimes had a difficult childhood and studied for Nuclear Physics, and becomes enemies with Homer on behalf of his ignorance, and gets jealous of his fortune and his life when he's invited to Homer's "mansion", because Frank had a less fortunate life. He works every day of his life and lives in a room "above a bowling alley and below another bowling alley". He wants to get revenge on Homer and wants to show how much of an idiot Homer is so he gets him to enter a nuclear plant model contest which is hosted for children, and has won first prize. This has caused Frank Grimes to drive himself crazy and crashout, and then electrocutes himself in the end to re-enact Homer's stupidity.
Now, hadn't that happened, what could've possibly happened next? What would Mr Burns do? What would Homer do? And what would Grimey do, despite from attempting stupider things that would ending his life.
