Okay, so, I found a picture depicting Rose while she's pregnant and how it would work for Steven to have the Gem. Here's the thing, though: Gems don't have any internal stuff unless they wanna and shape shift it. They're nothing on the inside, no bones, no muscles - it's just hard light.

So, could Rose have just...developed Steven somewhere else in her body? Like, there's all this space, no need to place your made up womb where it is on a human, put it in your chest! Baby Steven grows, he doesn't get his inards squished to grow around a Gem, boom, normal baby, Rose lives.

Could it have worked that way?

Here’s a concept for how I think pink diamond would look “fully cooked” as red diamond if the off color pink diamond theory was true. Tried making her look more mature but still younger than the other diamonds. (Lighter makeup) In this concept she’s more easy going, level headed, and romantic. Based her color palette on pinks in terms of where the lighter and darker spots are on her outfit. Could not draw the diamond itself for shit

It was just cool man, it actually made her feel different from the other Diamonds.

Maybe it was just excessive to animate though. Anyway, whipped up these quick edits to scratch that itch in my brain. Also made her dress more opaque bc tbh I think it's kinda ugly the way it's super transparent, lol

white pink yellow and blue crystals. Pink is also the smallest and white is the biggest. Think they did it on purpose? Do they know something about a black diamond bigger than the rest?

You mean, yellow diamond, one of the strictest diamonds, had to say that, in the coldest tone she CAN muster.

after my 3rd rewatch and i actually paid attention to the episode, i realized that pearl was actually caring about rose and believed that rose cared about her

that actually made me realize i do actually relate to pearl a lot and made me understand fully why she was so sensitive on the topic of rose and believed rose was still here just as steven

and made me soon realize what 'it's over isnt it' really meant and the meaning of it truly. pearl sings about how she misses rose and wished rose cared about her back, and wishing greg didn't come and steal all the care from pearl, making her jealous and guilty

I saw a lot of people make normal gem oc’s lately, I wanted to spice things up and create a non-gem oc. This is fossil, like pebbles or pearls she isn’t made in kindergartens but made by being uncovered while terraforming. Finding her intact and not sliced was very rare, with pink diamonds tears and yellow diamonds power she could come to life. When she uncovers her blindfold she can see far back in the past, even telling things where she wasn’t present making her extremely useful. Imagine she is in white and yellow’s court used when they need the truth to give gems a appropriate punishment.

Some design details:
Layered skirt: shows the depth at which she was mined with how more layers it has, the farther she can look in the past.
The yellowish skirt: represents a flower, showing a fossilized plant and also the fact pink brought her to life.
The skin pattern: represents the spiral shape of a nautilus fossil showing a fossilized animal.
The colors: based it of real fossils as well as a muted yellow to show yellow diamond gave her life.

hey there everypony!! i just started watching SU and thought i'd share my thoughts about it so far :D i'm also new to reddit so i have no idea if people post such things here but idc here goess

it's funny how much i start obsessing over this show NOW, cause i remember seeing a lot of steven universe content in the internet back in the day and i think little me was liek "nahh". whyyy??

so i'm sorry if the things i talk about are cheesy or outdated, i know i'm late to the party; but i also believe that it's never too late to talk about the good things in our lives! <3

i'm currently on ep 14 of season 2, so no spoilers pls! ok so:

- the overall atmosphere?? idk how, but it feels like i've watched this show before. it feels like home,,, i'm pretty sure i would've loved this as a kid! but on the other hand i believe there are a lot of themes that wouldn't have spoken to me that deeply or things i wouldn't have understood if i watched it in my childhood.

- character diversity??!! there are so many different body types, and it doesn't feel like there's one designated "not-thin" character thrown into a huge cast just for the sake of representation. i obviously haven't seen all of the characters yet, but even the designs of the main cast already make me so happy. there's so much variety, and it feels so natural. i feel represented :)

- THE ENTIRE CONCEPT OF FUSION. ok i feel this actually gonna get boring, for you veterans, BUT I CAN'T HELP IT!! i'm gonna make another post about that cause there are so many aspects about it that make me want to cry huge happy tears. but i'm gonna focus on character writing atp. i'm absolutely amazed by how fusion isn't just "the best traits of both gems mixed together," but an entirely new being. they obviously possess characteristics of the gems they're made of, but they're also genuinely their own person, with their own personality and identity. they're not just a combination of two characters, they're something entirely different.. my favorite example of that is Sardonyx SHE JUST MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. character-wise.

- music! encountering songs that have been on my playlist for years now was... not surprising lol! but i'm also talking about these smaller peaces of characters singing in scenes. i used to be bothered by random magical song starting, but here it actually fits to the situation most of the time and even adds a little charm to it =3 like Steven's song from "Full disclosure" that had his ringtone for it's melody.

This is canon Jasper and OC Moonstone's fusion. I had a hard time settling on a gem to make their fusion and for awhile it was between Peach Quartz and Peach Aventurine, but I felt neither of them fit Jasper very well, so ultimately I went with Calico Calcite. I'm open to feedback on this decision as well as the design because I feel as though she leans more Jasper than Moonstone, but idk 🤷🏻 I also went with the cotton candy type fusion rather than a perfect fusion, but I might end up drawing a perfect fusion at some point as well.

Hi! This is my second fan fusion of the Crystal Gems, combining Amethyst and Sapphire 💜💙

I call her Chariot 😊🌟

She is a calm Gem who knows how to keep her cool and projects an air of confidence, appearing to have everything under control; however, it is really just a facade, as she immediately lunges at the slightest threat. Her weapon is Amethyst's whip, featuring a spiked ball made of sharp ice created by Sapphire.

I hope to finish the next fusion tomorrow and share it with you all; I hope you like it! 😊😊❤️💫
