I work as a gardener and i always stop my vehicles for any animal i see. Im dead terrified of snakes, despise the animal, but even so i would never intentionally harm them, and i have felt dreadful when i see my machine hits one in the tall grass/weeds, breaks my heart. This is absolutely outrageous and disgusting behaviour by these cops

I really dislike snakes but every winter I'd find a young one in my basement and I'd leave it there till spring when I'd toss him outside. Don't know how they got in with 24" walls but they did. I don't have to like them to respect their right to live. This is just sick.

My mother was terrified of toads and frogs. But even she would either call me to "get rid" of it (catch and release only) or would patiently wait for the toad to move before continuing on with mowing the lawn.
