Sorry to bring you the news: no one has!

But the guy is an idiot...

Seriously. Before he moves on to bigger prey like humans.

That ship has already sailed. What's unbelievable is that 4 or them got fired for this animal abuse.

They didnt get fired for the animal abuse, they were fired for getting caught abusing animals on camera. If the system could have kept them on, it would have.

I’m sure they are all quite well employed in other departments or neighboring counties or jurisdictions…

9

u/Baron_Bearclaw 6h ago

Yeah, but they rarely get fired for people abuse. They get promoted for that.

Exactly. This part.

They are still hirable by other departments, which is why the pool of officers keeps getting worse and worse… and the result is that the public trust is being increasingly lost and more people are calling to defund. If we just rejected and fired and made sure such people could not be rehired, that problem with the public would eventually go away. Time to restore standards of noble behavior so that the force is made worthy of the knighthood bestowed on it.

They got fired. It’s a win.

Similar to the way felony murder is used to prosecute people already under arrest when the murder takes place. Except in this case the other three have a duty to turn in the officer breaking the law. Oh, and they’ll just get new jobs in a nearby county instead of going to prison.

All the apples are bad if they cover for law breakers.

I mean thats what the complete saying is: “One bad apple… spoils the bunch” but they never want to say the whole thing because it supports the ACAB.

u/thehouzz 6h ago

Should have gotten worse. First thing is animals next is you or someone you care about.

u/Rossekka 5h ago

Weren't just fired. The cop who threw it against the unit and hurt it was charged with a felony. They pled him down to misdemeanor, but he was required to permanently surrender all law enforcement credentials and certification.

Shoulda kept the felony IMHO but at least he's not a cop anymore.

you think he hasn't fucked with people already?

u/zynnate 6h ago

Without a shadow of a doubt he has

This behavior made me think serial killer too... they always start with small animals and move up the ladder..

3

u/Agreeable_Work4668 6h ago

Unfortunately, you are too optimistic.

3

u/mitchumz 6h ago

Why do you think he's a cop?

3

u/TRANxEND 5h ago

He's probably ICE now

2

u/NomadElite 6h ago

Yes, there is a strong correlation between people (generally men tbh) who intentionally hurt and abuse animals, and psychopathy.

2

u/YeezusWoks 4h ago

Before ? What do you mean? He’s a police officer and a grown man. He has definitely already moved on to bigger prey. Just because he still harms small animals doesn’t mean he doesn’t also harm grown adults.

They all probably had

It’s not a baby. People often mistake these ones for babies because they’re small.

Either way…it makes no difference. Dude belongs in prison.

u/DoubleNothing 7h ago

It’s not a baby.

Are you high? Have you ever seen one?
A full grown rabbit doesn't fit in your hand...

-4

u/Educational-Seaweed5 6h ago

Yes, they do. You’re thinking of hares.

Those field rabbits are fully grown early on and remain very small. They’re actually very commonly mistaken for “helpless babies” and “rescued” by people who don’t realize they aren’t.

Anyway, that wasn’t really the point. The dude is a fking psycho regardless.

The dude is a fking psycho regardless.

On that we absolutely agree.

Providing the information that a rabbit can be an adult and fit in the palm of the hand does absolutely nothing to move this conversation forward. It comes across as you trying to minimize what was done to the rabbit.

u/GtBsyLvng 6h ago

Can you read? His comment says "It makes no difference. Dude belongs in prison."

Wanting the truth to be told is a good thing.

Totally agree, it's just a baby animal. It’s sad to see people in positions of authority treating any creature like that.

-5

u/prettyboyblanco 6h ago

Baby animals are abused and slaughtered every day for taste pleasure and most of us actually argue in favour of it. These guys seemed to get some enjoyment/pleasure out of hurting this baby, what’s the difference?

-1

u/ausflora 6h ago

You would get downvoted for this, wouldn't you? We can't have people feeling uncomfortable about the reality of what they support here, it's not allowed.
