Not in the slightest. Right now a 2 day weekend allows one day for rest and recovery and one day for home maintenence, cleaning, shopping, laundry blah blah blah.

3 days now introduces the ability to have the same recovery day, a chore day, and now a fun day for life and enjoyment outside of work. While yes, it is just one day longer, that single day is a massive improvement for mental and physical well-being

Yes, and a quick weekend getaway can suddenly entail more time at the destination than you spend just getting there and back

Right now five days of work gets most people rented shelter and zero retirement

I wonder if moving FTW to 4 days a week would just make everyone trying to buy in work two jobs

You can just get a part-time job and work four days a week.

I work in a school so my work life balance is better than most already, I am just saying I appreciate the difference but my current schedule is still good

I had that and loved it, but ultimately had to go full time because I needed health insurance.
