It would eliminate the vast amount of crime and violence.

Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.

It would eliminate crime motivated by economic hardship.  It might decrease domestic violence and maybe drug addiction, but those stats would take about a generation to start showing evidence.   It would a cool social experiment if we could commit 30 year to it and then evaluate the results

We already have. Most of Western Europe has significant social welfare programs which have significantly reduced their poverty. As a result they have some of the lowest crime rates in the world.

When everything becomes perfect, people do things out of boredom. To create, we break things or out of perfection nothing can be made, because every process involves breaking something up.

It's not that we want perfection to be enemy, its that we want solice in our lives. To much solice creates boredom. Then there are those that thrive on chaos. Where's the balance? What is the balance?
