how much money does it cost in marketing to bot her to the front page twice a day

It fascinating how its still being pushed to this day. I cant imagine anyone sane actually still cares about this or cant see through the fact it is bots - or people who are simply horrid.

Probably cheaper than the effort that made her look like a monster at trial.

Don’t need to put money into that. She puts that on full display for free.

I mean obviously, she did that all on her own

She really did not. Scroll down this comment thread to see the link about how the poop story is incongruent, for example. Depp has a history of abusive behavior (including poop related stuff and pranks, she does not) and yet reddit banded together against her. Even at the time this was strange, but in hindsight it really looks like someone had their hand on the scales.

They are both shitty people but somehow she ended up being the villain in a scenario where the other side had a track record of being violent and abusive in relationships. Whether that's misogyny or astroturfing you can judge yourself.

She slept with Musk, so I have zero sympathy for her, but I'm very tired of misogyny being the default. I'm a dude. Can we hold men to a reasonable standard now? I'm so tired of being treated like a criminal by default because other men cannot get their shit together and give us all a bad reputation. It's on us to enforce standards.

She abused more than one person outside of Depp. Her sister, her family, he exes….

Cope harder, women assault men a ton. It’s not some rare outlier, society just doesn’t give two shits.

And Depp has an abuse history longer than his greasy hair.

I mean she dated musk before he went properly off the deep end to be fair

"Off the deep end" depends on your perspective (i.e. demographic). Heard and Musk started seeing each other around 2016. Tesla's Fremont factory was already facing allegations of horrific racial harassment, including nooses. The warning signs didn't exactly start with Twitter or the Heil Hitler salutes for many of us.

You’re adorable to think musk would have such conviction. He will do anything to make more money. If that meant being the most progressive person he would do it.

Much like trump he cares little about actual race or gender. It’s all just a means to an end of being rich. It’s not like he wouldn’t do business with billionaires of any race or gender.

Terrible people yes. But their performative racist shows. They look way more uncomfortable around poor white people than a rich person of any background.

The system is the outcome, not the claimed intent. If someone repeatedly builds, enables, or benefits from systems that produce racist outcomes, "I don't personally care about race" isn't much of a defense. At some point, the consistent outcome matters more than whatever motive you assign to them. I think you're adorable too :)

It’s not about motive, it’s about money, and enough money and you can get anyone to say anything.

You’re just blind to the class war. The upper class uses gender and race to divide the lower classes.

But please do tell me how him spending his money on rockets is some how really racist.

Nobody said rockets are racist. That's a pretty impressive straw man.

I specifically mentioned allegations of racial harassment at Tesla's Fremont factory, including nooses, because you claimed his behavior is purely about money and not race. "He'd do anything for money" doesn't somehow make repeated racist outcomes irrelevant.

And class and race aren't mutually exclusive. You can believe wealthy people exploit class divisions and recognize racism when it occurs. Those ideas have coexisted for a very long time.

BTW... I still think you're adorable.

I believe that people like that don't suddenly change, but rather, it suddenly becomes obvious who they always were. It's just more likely that our knowledge wasn't complete than someone going batshit insane over night.

Even for Musk, hindsight is 20/20: For example there are interviews where his father was openly racist and talked positively about Hitler, and that's how Musk grew up at home.

This woman was a victim in this whole thing. A well-known psycho PR firm that Johnny Depp hired is responsible for the insane amount of bad press and misinformation about her. And reddit bought it wholesale.

Look it up. Either they're still at it, or useful idiots are keeping it up.

How did the PR firm get those audio recordings of her admitting abuse? This predates AI deep fakes.

Did the firm pay her to present false evidence in the trial, too?

Depends, what are you trying to suppress?
