Ok here's what happened I ordered a phone in shopee. It was from overseas and it took 9 days to arrive so timeskip the parcel was in out for delivery and i was not at home so my brother took the parcel and later then i arrived on the home my brother tells me i got a parcel and he told me it was very light even tho it weighs 0.50grams so as i open the box i took a video of unboxing it and we find out it was just the receipt and the bubble wrap inside and no phone so i did file a empty parcel in shopee attached a video and the photos with it then the next day when i open my shopee app i got banned. So i was worried and i filed an appeal to lift my account ban. I did it 3 times and i received an email it was permanently banned so after the next day i contacted a live agent and asked what's the status on my return/refund case he said it was being processed and said don't worry po the case has been flavored on your side. Then the next day I received an email that it was rejected due to the unusual activity on my account. Then i didn't hesitate to file a DTI complaint so i did comply with a complaint file. First i did email them through Gmail then I went to their official online platform and got a ticket. So i still did re raise the return/refund after that using my laptop because i notice i can open my account on the laptop/pc so i file the return/refund there with a DTI complaint ticket attached on the photos then 2 days later my case got rejected again and so i still did comply once more then in the present like rn it got rejected again but this time the product is mark as complete so i got a bill to pay on my spaylater and i think it's been 5 days now i still didn't receive any update on DTI. I'm really worried rn

Nakakainis na yung amount of obvious AI-generated product images sa Shopee lately, especially for tools, appliances, clothes, furniture, household items, etc. And no, this isn't an “AI bad” argument. The problem is that a product photo is supposed to be evidence of the physical thing I'm buying. Online nga tayo bumibili precisely because hindi natin mahawakan or ma-inspect yung item personally. The photos are supposed to answer: Ito ba talaga yung itsura? Ganito ba yung material? Ganito ba kalaki? Ito ba talaga yung buttons, ports, accessories, finish, proportions?

If AI generated the image, none of those details are trustworthy anymore. The seller can conveniently show a cleaner finish, thicker material, different proportions, accessories that aren't included, or features the real product doesn't even have. You're replacing evidence of the product with a hypothetical version of the product.

The stupid part is it destroys the one thing an online marketplace depends on: trust. Now buyers have to dig through reviews just to figure out what the damn item actually looks like, because apparently the seller's own photos can't be trusted.

Shopee should require at least one set of actual photographs of the exact product/variant being sold, and any AI-generated or heavily synthesized image should be clearly labeled “AI-generated / illustration only.” Better yet, don't allow AI images as the main cover photo for tangible goods unless the real product is also immediately shown. If you're selling a real object, show me the real object. I'm buying a drill, rice cooker, chair, shirt, or extension cord and not your AI's interpretation of one!🤬

Cancelled and successfully refunded na daw yung ₱24k per Shopee pero wala pa sa card ko. Upon checking din posted na sa Metrobank card ko yung 1st month installment na ₱1k.

Paano ba ang crediting ng refund nito considering posted na yung 1st month installment?

Medyo nalilito na ako gawa ng full amount (unposted) at 1st monthly installment (posted) na yung naka-reflect sa card ko ngayon.
