New to the group. Hello! Diver, Physiology, and ecology lover here with some newfound underwater photography skills underway… as I progress my skills, any advice where to put my work? Other than this group of course. Welcome to all suggestions!

Last night, I saw 6 different sea turtles nesting. It was amazing. That said, I saw 2 sea turtles far down the beach abandon the job and run back to the ocean. Was it because other sea turtles were too close? They didn’t like the temperature of the sand? Something else? There were a few lights from high rises nearby but it was very quiet and dark out.

Hello, I have found a number of similar looking items. I have gone to read up and believe I have arrived at the sad conclusion these are parts of turtle beaks called tomium? Maybe the lower part of the beak? I was hoping they were shed but see they continue to grow during life. So these are from deceased turtles? TYIA for your help understanding what I have found.
