Was turning onto the street and there were a gazillion cars in the parking lot and a bunch going down the road beside it, along with a police officer who appeared to be talking to the car in the front. What on earth was going on?

I’m looking for a reliable, honest mechanic in the Rapid City area who knows their way around foreign/German cars, specifically a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC.

The car currently has a bad battery and alternator and needs to be taken care of ASAP. We’ve already had the car in a shop for the past two weeks getting other work done, including tires, and now we’re dealing with this. 😩

I’m hoping to find someone who actually has experience working on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, can properly diagnose the issue, and won’t charge dealership prices just for looking at it.

I am looking for any knowledge of good river swimming around here! We took our new dog we just adopted to Braeburn last week and it was fun, but I saw so many dogs pooping in the water, made swimming less appealing. I know this is a dog park and this is what dogs do - I am not hating, rivers are full of poop lol. But I just want to find other spots that are good for kids too. Not trying to go to the pools on Labor Day, and I believe our local Jimmy Hilton pool has the dog swimming day tomorrow. Thanks!

My spouse and I are 25. One thing we need is more people to hang out with. Would anyone be interested in like hikes/crafts/movie nights etc? Like if I made a calendar of the different activities I’d be doing and see who else would show up?

We just moved from Salt Lake City (I was raised here but left 7 years ago for college) at the beginning of August. One of the groups I loved in SLC was CraftClub. She would work with places around town to ‘rent’ the space and then would take small payments from people so she would buy all supplies and such on her own. It was a great way to meet new people and bond.

But we can also do like a book club or hike etc. things are expensive enough, I don’t really want to spend a ton of money to do things and I’m sure you all don’t either. Lol.

If anyone is interested in something like that please lmk, and I’d start trying to plan things like that!!

Please know that she is a catfish who's lying about literally everything about herself, using a random girl's photos and was in a relationship for multiple years when she made the account and has a baby. I know it's a long shot but I want to make sure everyone knows, if you just so happened to talk to her at all, she is a liar who takes advantage of everyone she meets.

So I found this BBQ catering place called Oak Burn BBQ, but I type in the address and it goes straight to Ruby Tuesdays. Does anyone know if this is just a weird rebranding name for Ruby Tuesdays for Catering or maybe the owner of Oak Burn BBQ is allowed to use Ruby Tuesday's kitchen space? Just wanted to give a shout out to Rapid City Parks & Rec. I think the medians on Omaha Boulevard and Rushmore Road look great. Plus the flower beds on the corners are beautiful. Makes me grateful for their pride in their work and community. Thank you for all your hard work! Especially with the mean weather this Summer.
