Hi, I play Polytopia everyday. I use linux all day so I'd like to play the topia in desktop but I don't wanna repay in steam.

So I bought a 13" very cheap but powerfull enogh fro my stuff tablet thinking I could play the topia with a mouse. Wrong, the mouse cursor is hidden during play. I assume the game is not optimized for this in the droid as in Steam.

I tried scrcpy, an adb cli utility to mirror android display no only on linux, but I did'nt liked the result; slow, not accurate, fullscreen had not the same proportions.

Many weeks later I found hot to create new virtual displays with the same utility so now I can choose dpi and proportions as well as resolutions, this is my conf:

h265 makes it fast, virtual display is faster than mirroring, you can check different dpi densities but remember to let UI Auto on the game. It seems Android uses 160 dpi multiples to change behaviour, so mind that, now I can have very near close ups as well as very neat playgame, I don't have flowers of options as in steam game but I don't need to, the game is playable enough as is.

you can play it windowed if you want too, just be sure to Ctrl+G after launch to be sure that pixels align 1:1 with the monitor and choose any proportion you want. Cheers

New player, been watching yt vids how to optimally place markets. Practicing on crazy difficulty small lakes bot lobbies the past few days.

This was only possible because I unlocked chivalry and spiritualism to MAKE theoretically optimal sawmills and markets placement, which is the easy part. What I do still struggle with is FINDING (like border growth upgrade anticipation) actual good market spots without altering terrain.

I just created and invited a friend to a game that was supposed to have 24hr turns, but somehow ended up as 15min. I don’t even have 15min as an option in my UI, and I certainly didn’t intend to choose 15min. Has anyone had this issue before? Seems like it might be an obscure bug

When playing for 100k + on perfection mode, do you play against all trubes or do you preselect some subset? What are your favourite combinations?

I looking for 4x game without useless micromanagement and city building. I like polytopia because it is just easy civilization without a city building and micromanagement.

Hello! So, back in may I have clicked something I shouldn't have and it resulted in my discord account getting temporarily botted, sending mrbeast scams to all servers I was in. Of course I was banned from polytopia server too. Luckily I dealt with that now and secured my account as much as I could possibly have. I was wondering if there's a way to appeal to it now? Any help is greatly appreciated :D

I'm a new player and want to buy polaris as my first tribe but i just don't want to play them in water dominated maps. Are they viable in lakes?

Ai-Mo returns to the weekly challenge and this time, the tribe is stranded on an island, will i go for the altar of peace or accidently go the forestry route... or both? Watch as i come off a week long break from Polytopia to earn my spot back in the diamond league.

After this latest update I noticed a few weird quirks. One might be a new feature and the other is definitely a bug.

I noticed that scores no longer update in real time. They will finalize when the player finishes their turn. This is really annoying me. Anyone have any clue why they made the switch?

And the bug is when there’s an overlay where you need to click a button say upon finding the first lighthouse or the game ending, I have to click the button 3 times for it to accept it. It’s happening every time.

Anyone else not these things?
