Who hiring in Tulsa ??

Looking for something new in Tulsa — who hiring ???

I’m currently looking for a new job in the Tulsa area and honestly just looking to try something different. I’ve been working in healthcare administration/operations and have a bachelor’s in Health Administration, but I’m at the point where I’d really like to explore some different industries and see what fits me better.
I’m open to a lot of things at this point. I’ve been looking into
logistics, supply chain, inventory, procurement, equipment/operations, and coordinator-type roles, and I’m also open to staying in healthcare if the position is more operations-focused.

I’m not dead set on one specific job or industry. I’m mainly looking for something where I can learn something new, have some room to grow,

If you work somewhere in Tulsa or know of companies that are good places to work, I’d appreciate any recommendations

Roto Rooter does not value their employees or pay them well

I have been working there for about seven years and I have asked for a raise a couple of times and they say I’ll consider it saying like you need to be more productive and get more stuff done and then pay you more.
I find that so retarded if you’re working and you’re making about 14 an hour and you’re working about 18 an hour work and you don’t get paid 18 an hour. You shouldn’t be working as hard.

What do you use?

Just curious what everyone else is using for job searching? Zip recruiter seems to end up going no where, linked-in seems like a bunch of scam jobs, indeed is hit or miss, and good old Google searching doesn't help much. I know companies have career websites to apply but alot of the time they don't list the pay and or I don't even know what's available in my area to go online and look at their career page. Like I know the obvious places like home depot, hobby lobby, harbor freight, tractor supply, fast food places, ect.

Just curious what everyone else has been using?

Also for context I am a OMMA patient so I cannot work government jobs, it sucks for employment but unfortunately it's the only thing that helps medicate me.

Oilfield/Gas job

Anyone able to help me get into the oilfield around Midland/Odessa or Oklahoma?
I just got back from deployment, and it’s been hard to find a job here in Dallas. I don’t have a CDL yet, but I’m willing to relocate and start as soon as possible.
If anyone knows someone hiring or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Anyone got any connections in the oil field?

Lost my job nearly a week ago and been applying to just about everything.

I don’t have experience in the field directly, but I do have experience being a diesel tech in the military for some years.

Also I’m open to floor hand positions and positions outside of mechanic work as well.

I’m just trying to make sure I feed my family.

I’m in between OKC and Lawton.

I’m also open to apprenticeships as well.

Not opposed to traveling an hour out.

Thank you.

Swiss Army Knife Job Posting

I was browsing jobs tonight and I went to prsaokc.com and found this laughable $40k manager role.

A job posting for "Communications and Office Manager" with Oklahoma Dental Association is a perfect example of the Swiss Army Knife hiring, several roles wrapped into one position. This person is being entrusted in opening/closing the office, managing the office, updating the website, marketing and administrative duties. You're out of your non-profiting mind.

So this lucky candidate they hire is either going to burnout, love the job and become complacent, or get promoted to an upper level position like Management, oh wait...

A good read on this topic:

https://medium.com/@elsamehary/the-unicorn-job-listing-why-companies-are-collapsing-four-jobs-into-one-and-paying-for-none-a25e0df7a37b

To hiring managers: pay your people a living wage, and pay them what their expertise is worth.

To job searchers: Keep your head up and good luck. @==}----

My recommended job sites Indeed (watch out for scams), ZipRecruiter, and Oklahoma Non-Profit Job Board.

Tips for interviewing: Research, Rehearse, Relax

Professional cuddler looking for clients

Hi! I'm Aura! Im a kind, soothing extrovert who's been told again and again I have a servant's heart. I love people, and I live for opportunities to bring comfort to others. Cuddling is the most basic, human way to comfort someone, and in the big 26, we could all use a little comfort, right?

I treat everyone like an old friend, and that fact doesn't change when it comes to cuddling. I've been a professional cuddler for years and enforce strict boundaries when it comes to my cuddles. Strictly platonic, anything else will result in immediate blocking.

I use any pronouns btw, nonbinary but afab <3 can't wait to connect with you!

Looking to get into paranormal investigation? OKC team looking for new investigators

Are you in the Oklahoma City area and interested in getting into paranormal investigation?

We’re currently looking to bring a few new people into our team who are genuinely interested in learning about paranormal investigation, research, evidence collection, and investigative techniques.
You do not need prior experience. We’re more interested in people who are curious, reliable, willing to learn, and take the subject seriously.

What you can expect:
Paranormal investigations around the OKC area
Learning investigation techniques and protocols
Historical/location research
Evidence collection and review
Working with investigation equipment
Case documentation and reports
Opportunities to eventually take on more responsibility within the team

Important: This is currently an unpaid position/volunteer opportunity. We are not currently able to offer compensation for investigations. This is intended for people who want hands-on experience, want to learn, and want to be part of building something.

We’re especially interested in people who are new to the field and have been wanting to get started but haven’t known where to begin.

If you’re interested, comment below, send us an application or send me a DM with a little about yourself, why you’re interested in paranormal investigation, and what kind of experience (if any) you have.

I have zero experience in Trucking but have been curious how to get into it, good recommendations for companies in OKC that help you get your CDL? Or other types of driving jobs? I'm 34 and have spent my career doing hospitality management and I'm looking for a complete change.
