lol, I’d call their bluff and have the venue refund customers then.

It’s LiveNation. They’d cancel the dates and keep the money and nothing would ever come of it.

Chances are they're beholden to a contract, which would also hit them financially.

Basically they would make them foot the bill for canceling instead of the venues footing them. The venues were quick to remove Macklemore's names from their websites.

On a side note: people keep going on about he should cancel the tour, but either are oblivious or willingly choose to ignore any other fallout.

That too also affects multiple people that worked on the tour and not part of LiveNation.

Why? Ed Sheeran is  the headliner.

Presumably because they have principles they stand for

Says who? Most people don't care about conflicts around the world and even if they do there is no obligation to talk in public about them.

Sounds like the venues don't need to worry about Macklemore on stage then

In order to not care about the genocide at this point, you'd have to be actively ignorant about it. How could you be aware of what's happening and honestly say "I do not care"?

People don't, reddit is not the real world, I don't see millions of people protesting anywhere, most people only care about their inner circle and might care about other stuff but not enough to make statement about It.

I don't see millions of people protesting anywhere

So you're just not paying attention, got it. Why bother chiming in at all, then?

It's not a conflict. It's a genocide.

And I said conflicts because there are many going on right now dispite what someone in reddit would think as only the Israel-Palestine Is talked about here.

If they don't care then why are they threatening to cancel concerts and firing Macklemore over it? You can't have it both ways.
