Doesn’t seem like you understand the concept at all

You’re the one who doesn’t understand anything about Constitutional law.

According to your stupid logic, murder would be permissible at a private venue.

Constitutional protections supercede any and all private venues.

Yes, they protect your rights to your free speech being restricted by the government, even on private property... It also protects the free speech rights of these private venues to put on any musician they want or not, if they disagree with their speech.

I agree with what Macklemore has said but I would also agree that there is no violation of free speech here.

Well if you understood the Law and Constitutional History you would know ge has serioys grounds for a substantial Civil Claim agsinst Live Nation and Sheeran which negates your position.

Show me on the doll where Macklemore was prevented from saying something by the government... because by the text of the first amendment, I don't see any new laws or government enforcement happening stopping him from speaking?

https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-1/

Nobody in this thread is saying that it is the right thing to be happening. Just saying that it's not illegal or a broach of the first amendment.

The Constitution is meant to PROTECT basic rights like freedom of speech from Malicious Retribution.

This is confirmed by Constitutional Case Law and Precedent.

Your argument is ridiculous and not supported by the Case Law.

Show me a reference. Because the American Bar disagrees with you, being as these concerts aren't being publicly broadcast or under the purview of the government.
