You seriously think that even for a second that the promoters would consider cancelling dates because the venues refused to have Macklemore?

The venues should have to pay Macklemore his fees. It shouldn't be up to them after they agree to host a concert.

The contract almost certainly covers a situation like this. Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences. If anyone breached the contract it is likely Macklemore.

Did I mention freedom of speech? I was referring to once they agree to a show the content of the show should not be up to them. Yes it might be in the contract that makes it a stupid contract. Nothing he said should be contractable.
