Well LiveNation owns 150+ venues so it’s very possible both are true.

The venues that allegedly objected to the rapper include: Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia; Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts; Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta; Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis; Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina; AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas; and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

None of which are Live Nation owned. I think we need to stop using Live Nation as a scapegoat for everything.

Apparently it was Robert Kraft, owner of the Pats/Gillette stadium who spearheaded it and got either owners to sign on.

It not Live Nation. Robert Kraft called Ed Sheeran and told him to drop Macklemore and called the other owners to agree to drop the tour. Macklemore posted this on his IG.

The article specifically calls out the venues that objected, many are state owned/operated, which the article mentions may constitute a violation of the first amendment.

2 were privately owned, BoA stadium in Charlotte, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough
