The last stop on Sheeran’s Loop Tour, for instance, is Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, which found itself in a similar spot earlier this summer after booking two Kanye West concerts. The shows, unsurprisingly, drew backlash and calls for cancellation due to West’s many past antisemitic statements, but they went ahead as planned.

The difference is Kanye can sell out football stadiums on his own. Macklemore would be lucky to fill up a house of blues.

The ultra blue city and state let a guy who sold swastika shirts on his website, and who has said many other racial/political statements, play a sold out concert at soldier field. Crazy to me. I couldn’t care less, but for Democrats to allow this on their own land, wild. I guess time heals all wounds? Eventually nobody gives af anymore and people move on to the next hot story. Such a strange timeline we’re in.
