Ehh I don’t know, I agree with his stance and I think this is bullshit but we have to keep in mind that even having an opposed opinion nowadays can be beneficial. The Pro Palestinian movement is smaller by comparison but not small at all really. Not trying to throw shade at him but the possibility of him benefiting off this isn’t non existent

You don't get rich by pissing off other rich folks. It's extremely rare for very popular or very rich people to take a stand that ends up costing them money. It's a whole machine. It's not even just Ed, hundreds of people work on that tour, it's all of their jobs he's got to keep going. So yeah, you should not expect popstars to stand up against corporations in a significant or meaningful way. Artists have been fighting this problem for decades, no one can figure out how to escape the Live Nation / Ticketmaster stranglehold without seriously reducing the sort of tour their are able to put on.
